From the living room, side deck, roof deck, hot tub and bedrooms, you will be constantly amazed at the beauty that surrounds you. While the views are incredible, the fine details of a vacation home at this price point are lacking. We found some dirty socks in the master bedroom closet upon arrival. The towels are rough and scratchy. There wasn't a sharp knife in sight in the kitchen and all but two of the kitchen cabinets were not labeled. A ton of space for 2 families of 5 with teenage children. We had so much fun grilling and cooking with our families and laughing around the huge table for dinner. It had great views, great neighborhood, and close to lots of things. Housekeeping can do better with wiping off window sills of cobwebs but it is in the woods. It was spacious and comfortable, with bedrooms, bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of seating for our meals and snacks. At every level of the house, including the rooftop deck, the views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains were spectacular. The house had plenty of tvs with good cable access, a nice recreation area on the bottom floor with a pool table and card table. The location turned out to be great, just off Hwy 50 with easy access to beaches, hiking trails, parks, restaurants, and shops. The city of South Tahoe was minutes away. House was being cleaned when we checked in and still it wasn’t clean enough with food particles on sofas. Hot tub water wasn’t getting hot enough and wasn’t of much use. The location of the property was definitely convenient, which is the one positive thing I can say. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t meet expectations. Cleanliness was a major issue—several rooms and pieces of furniture felt unclean and not properly maintained. What was most unsettling was finding a plastic bag with smoking paraphernalia left behind in the dairy cabinet of the fridge. That was a complete shock and made us question the overall upkeep and care put into the property. Based on this experience, I won’t be staying here again or recommending it to anyone. ##### Toby M. Hot tub was unusable the entire stay due to filth and bacteria. It was not able to be serviced. Visible trash on floors throughout house. No snow maintenance despite record level accumulation. We rented this place for two days, and there was no water for the first day, and there was a snow storm next day too. Owner had installed a device to turn off the water remotely. It got fixed next day at noon. Our vacation was ruined because of this. Positive thing is, when we called Vicasa, they couldn't help on the first night, but the next day morning they came 3 times to the home to get it fixed. Erica was very helpful, and Vasaca has refunded cost of two night minus the cleaning and booking fee. ##### Satheesh N.
