Room was very nice overall aside from white curtains in the room and black blinds in bathroom were dirty. Staff were all friendly and approachable. Appreciated the fresh fruit and unlimited tea and coffee available.

Nice location, next to train which comes every few minutes and goes direct to centraal within 15 minutes. Lots of near by options for dining or just grabbing a snack from the grocery store. Mattresses could use a refresh. Hair and other dirt stuck to them. Room was a bit dusty.

Bold scam. You dont get what you pay for.
The room I booked specifically said "sea-view" at this PANORAMA hotel. The only view we had was of a taller building right in front of us. Asked at the reception and he boldly told me that all other rooms are booked and it says "sea-view" on every room. Not an ounce of apology or compensation in the slightest, just an annoyed "What am I supposed to do?" It was at night and we only stayed that one night for sleeping anyway, so I did not feel like argueing was worth it. Literally did not get what I paid for at no refund. Mattresses were worn and uncomfortable and whoever was in the room next to us was stomping around and banging the door shut all the time all night. Also don't be fooled, the Hotel is only the top floor of the building and you have to enter through a dirty back door which had shady people lingering in front of it. When you enter the building you enter what looks like a decrepit hallway in an abandoned public pool to get to the elevator. Inside the actual hotel it looks nice and clean. Free Late Checkout and free hot drinks as well as a few in the room fridge was nice, underground parking a block down (not hotel-owned) was rather cheap. Station in front of the Hotel takes you Amsterdam Main Station in 13 minutes. Would not go here again.

The setting is so so, as it is at the top of a flat used for offices/housing, but it was still clear to find. Views were nice, staff was lovely although I did ask for my room's shower drain to be unclogged and it was not done.l, so that was disappointing. Overall room was very comfortable for a good price and they had some nice freebies in the fridge which was a nice touch.

Slight disappoint about the cleanliness
We booked 4 nights in a row. The hotel is near to the tram station which is great to travel to Amsterdam Central in 18mins. The receptionist is super friendly. But was slight disappoint by the cleanliness as we discovered there’s a cockroach inside the room and we did told after check out and they didn’t mentioned any compliment or refund towards the incident. It’s quite odd to have insect/ cockroaches in European country but we’re terrified by the incident.

It was very, very nice, this place really provided what they advertised. The lake view was beautiful, waking up to see that was amazing, never expected that view for the price. Will stay there when I go back to Amsterdam. The room is quite spacious, the bathroom is bigger than expected as well. The receptionist showed us where we can take the bus and places to go, he was very nice, polite, friendly. A really nice experience to end the vacation, nothing at all as how we started.

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel, easy to find, beautiful view of the river. Quite Easy access to Amsterdam central, rooms tidy clean bed so comfy!. After a day walk around Amsterdam was out like a light. Down side fridge was hot... :/ . Did talk to someone as need to ask for an iron, but fridge never got sorted. But everything else spot on, 9/10

Great panoramic view and excellent location
Very good location, well connected to the ciry center. Tram no 26 is frequently available right outside the hotel and which takes us to central railway station. Commute was easy. Good, friendly stuff and lots of free drinks and beverages in the room. Good house keeping services.

The ads photo is misleading because the hotel only the top 2 floors not the whole building The entrance to the hotel is stairs beside the building to reach to back door then ride on service elevator to reach to the hotel The ads information tells you that there is air conditioning but unfortunately it is fooling customers I complained after the temperature reached 25 in the room but I was told to open the window to get some air exchange which I did but got lot of mosquitoes

This hotel is outside downtown Amsterdam but very close to streetcar, you can easily get to city Centre by a streetcar that is just a few minutes from the hotel. Very safe, clean

Attentive staff who supported us with our newborn baby. Spacious room with inclusive drinks; coffee, tea, beer, and soda. The wet room was very slippery and took ages to drain the water. Similar situation with the sink. Both took at least 15 minutes to drain, sometimes longer.

Right outside the tram station, so great for getting in and out of central. Some cafes and supermarkets around. Beautiful view from the room. Staff were lovely. My biggest qualm is that it felt like it was a newly acquired property. The route to get in was a bit unclear and didn't feel like a hotel. The rooms were clean but like they were awaiting renovation. Wallpaper rips and stains on the carpet. Good place if you're trying to save some money being outside the center. I wasn't unhappy with it but I don't think I'd stay again.

Our triple room easily accommodated 3 adults. Lobby is a comfortable space w/fruit snacks and beverages. Near light-rail & 20-min into City Center translated to more affordable room rates. Peeling paint in WC makes one wonder about deferred maintenance. Room safe NEVER worked even after two repairman visits. Routes to rooms are quite confusing - like a mouse maze through fire escape routes. Could benefit with hotelier consultation for improvement.

Our first room smelled like sulfur but that was rectified quickly by giving us a new room. Out new room obviously had water issues in the ceiling, we had to create a damn with towels at the shower threshold because water would go everywhere, the elevator buttons wound be removed in the evenings to stop hotel guests from using the elevator due to permanent residence in the building being irritated with hotel guests using “their” elevator. The bathroom was surrounded by glass so if you were in the main area of the room you could see your travel companion sitting on the toilet or taking a shower. The location was close to the tram, which came in handy as there are not a lot of food options in the hotel area.

Nice hotel a short tram ride from city center. The room was large by European standards with a refrigerator, kettle and coffee maker. Staff were not very friendly, other than the young man who checked us in but never saw again. Recommend you skip the overpriced breakfast in favor of the bakery or bagel shop just down the street.

Hotel with a good tram connection
Nice panoramic hotel, a bit further from the city centre, but with a good public transport options – tram number 26 stops only 2 minutes of walking away from the hotel and the ride lasts only 15 minutes to the Amsterdam Centraal. Cleanliness was OK and as expected, but the shower windows in the bathroom were leaking, so the floor were wet after every showering. We booked a double bed room with a view (at the city), but instead of that we got a room with a view to the sorrounding building which was under construction. After reporting that problem at the reception desk two hours after checking-in (in the evening), they said we need to solve this with the next shift in the morning. The next day, next shift told us they cannot change our room, since the cleaners are already ending their shift with cleaning rooms. We had to stay in the assigned room. A bit dissapointing experience, otherwise all other things were okay.

Room was well worn and overdue for a makeover, wallpaper peeling off, veneers and laminates peeling and flaking, moldy corners in the bathroom, poorly designed bathroom without a shower door; property exterior was under renovation behind scaffolding; hotel shares property with condos and property was filthy - entrance had dog-terds, urine, cigarette butts. Had to use two elevators to access the room, both were grimy and unclean. Not a nice place.

I wouldn't stay here again - the area is under construction and it's far from the city center. The whole hotel needs to be redone - it seems dirty and dingy even if it's clean. Splurge and get a hotel closer to the center. I wish we hadn't tried to save a few Euros at this location.

Very noisy cleaners sound like a bull in a china shop. Slamming doors constantly and shouting. Moved rooms due to main door being slammed every 2 minutes. Air conditioning? There was no air con. I had to buy a fan because it was so hot in my room. It was 28 degrees in my room with the 'air con' on full. Opened the window for half an hour one morning so I could breathe..... only to be welcomed by a swarm of spiders!!! There are cobwebs and spiders everywhere. Crawling all over the ceiling if you leave your window open for some air. Also the fridge didn't work either, so 50 euros spent on perishable food all ruined. The list goes on.... Probably the worst 'hotel' I've ever stayed in. I will be asking Expedia for some kind of refund.

I would say my stay was Ok overall, the positives about this hotel was its location for me and that it was close to the bus/tram station and cleanliness was fine. But on the negative side, I had 2 issues. First issue was when I was checking in. As I arrived in the morning and the check-in was in the afternoon (I asked and early check-in was not available), I went to explore the city and came back later to the hotel. At this time, a friend of mine was with me but he was waiting in the lobby area (was not at the desk with me) and the reception asked me what's our relationship & some other questions that made me uncomfortable. I understand that I had booked the room for 1 person, so he could've asked politely if there are going to be any other people that I need to add to my reservation (which he didn't even need to ask that because I had reserved a single room). Second, in their description, under fees and policies section, it was mentioned that Airport shuttle service is offered for an extra charge of EUR 17 per person (one way). However, when I asked for this at the hotel reception, they told me that there is no such a thing and they can get me a taxi for 45 euros!! Even when I showed it to them on their website they said they can't do anything about it. I am not happy with the inaccurate information on their website which caused inconvenience in my travel, because I had an early morning flight and I couldn't use public transportation so I had to either get taxi or Uber.

I flushed the toilet and everything came up from a drain in the shower and filled up the washroom floor, I could not even call the reception because phone in the room didn't work. I mentioned it to the receptionist first day that phone wasn't working but nothing was done. Also hotel mentioned that they have parking, but they dont have one I had to park under different building. Overall it was the grossest experience of my life. To be honest I don't suggest this hotel to ANYONE

Dear Zaur, We are a little surprised by your review. First we like apologize for the horrible experience you had during flushing your toilet, no doubt we agree that wasn't nice. You called us (the frontoffice) from your car to receive details about the parking possibilities. In the e-mail sent before your arrival we also mention guests can park for just €7,50 per day in a public carpark just a 2 minute walk from the hotel and free on the street from 7 pm till 9 am. After your check-in you called the front office again with your mobile phone to ask for a world adaptor. During this call you mentioned your hotelroom phone was not working. We brought the free world adaptor within 2 minutes to your hotel room. The suggestion that you could not reach the front office surprises us, as you called us already 2 times from your mobile phone and your hotelroom was just 15 meters away from the front office located. We appreciate your honest feedback and the return of the adaptor.

I really liked the location, as it was outside of the hustle & bustle of downtown, but still very accessible via one short Tram ride to hot spots & museums in the inner city. The Hotel also had a wonderful view from both the rooms & the lobby. I also was very pleased with the Hotel Staff, who all were very helpful & friendly, and saved me much time with referrals & suggestions on what to do, as it was my first time to Amsterdam. I would most definitely stay with them again.
