The owner doesn't live onsite but was there pretty quick and was friendly. The hostel owner is really friendly and ready to help, and both the rooms and the bathroom were welcoming. Very small room; sheets changed irregularly. Doesn't appear to have staff on duty much of the time; you have to call ahead to make sure someone's there when you arrive. The room was comfortable enough. Took about an hour to get to the inn from central London by metro and train so that was quite time consuming. Es stellte sich heraus, dass das Hotel gar kein Hotel, sondern ein Hostel war. Als Studenten war uns der Preis sehr wichtig. Für den gezahlten Preis war die Leistung akzeptabel, jedoch gab es insgesamt folgendes zu bemängeln: "Das Hotel" hatte nicht mal eine Rezeption. Wir reisten sehr früh an und wollten zumindest das Geäck schon einmal abstellen, was in jedem HOTEL möglich gewesen wäre. Man bat uns eine halbe Stunde vor Ankunft anzurufen jedoch waren beide hinterlegten Handynummer nicht ereichbar. Erst mehrere Stunden später gelang es uns eine der beiden Nummern zu erreichen, so dass wir dann das Gepäck loswerden konnten. Dadurch verloren wir fast einen halben Tag. Positiv hervorzuheben sind das freundliche Auftreten der Bertreiberfamilie. For any seasoned traveller who wants to save money on where they sleep and spend it on enjoying London it's great. I really liked the area, lots of good Indian food and fried chicken around. Pretty easy to get downtown, can walk half a block and get on the 25 and go directly downtown in about 40 minutes or so. Nearby underground. Our bedding seemed really new and stuff was clean... When we arrived the bathroom was just cleaned but as it is shared bathroom expect it to get messy. Buy some antibacterial wipes at the nearby dollar stores. For the price it totally surpassed expectations and I would stay again. Noise was fine but it was during the week. If you're gonna stay in a budget place get some earplugs or something. Sad to read such harsh reviews. I've paid way more in places and gotten less. I had to wait outside for 20 minutes for someone to let me in after I'd spent 15 minutes phoning 3 separate numbers waiting for someone to answer the phone. As there was no sign, I wasn't confident I was in the right place. I saw one staff member for less than 10 minutes. As a woman traveling alone, I didn't feel safe with no staff on the premises. Vi knackade flera gånger utan resultat och började faktiskt fundera på om det ens var ett hotell. Sedan knackar vi på en ruta bredvid fönstret och efter en stund kommer en kvinna ut och ser undrande ut. Så vi frågar henne om det var ett hotell och hon svarade jag och checkade sedan in oss. Hotellrummet var väl helt okej, tvivlar dock på att sängkläderna var tvättade sen senaste gästen stack därifrån, sängen var fett hård och vi fick bara en liten kudde var. lyhört som fan var det också och alla slog i dörrarna. Av någon anledning var strömbrytarn kopplad till alla lampor så antingen fick det vara skitljust eller kolsvart. Dagen efter vi kom dit, på kvällen, så fick tydligen hotellägaren för sig att sätta på värmen i byggnaden vilken resulterade i helt sjuk värme när vi kom hem, tog nästan en timma innan vi ens kunde vara där inne igen.
