We stayed on a weekend and as the clubs and pubs emptied out there was a lot of shouting and singing from the street so just be aware of that. Room was comfortable and clean but a little underwhelming for the price. Staircase up to room is very narrow so quite difficult to negotiate with luggage. Loads of shops, restaurants, bars, all around. Perfect for Location. Room is lovely and spot on for one to two people. I didn't use the kitchen but can see it has all the required stuff. The only issue that I had (and its on other reviews) was the outside noise at night. Human noise pollution and vans etc - just a note take something to block the noise. I'd stay again too but I didn't sleep well. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Smack in the middle of everything in town and only a 7-8 min walk from the station. Apartment was very clean and well presented. Iron and hairdryer included. The only real downside was the thin windows in the property that didn’t block a lot of the outside noise. Some of the rowdy pub goers (of which I was one!) could be very noisy in the early hours. If you’re a heavy sleeper, you’ll be fine, but light sleepers or couples that aren’t there for heavier drinking sessions might not be so forgiving. But other than that, really can’t complain. Size of space was good, had everything we needed. It was a scorching weekend and so the apartment was super hot even with the windows wide open. A fan would’ve been handy. Bed was way too soft and it killed my back but that’s just my personal experience. Narrow steep staircase to walk up to room door - no bother for us but just as an FYI for others. Very noisy at night, making it hard to get to sleep - may be hard to do anything about. Was nice that there was tea, coffee and sugar to help yourself to, though some comp shampoo would have been good. Not easiest to get hold off the staff on phone. If you are looking for somewhere to just flop after a day wandering around seeing the many things Brighton has to see, it's great for what you pay. There's a nice colelction of different shampoos and conditioners in the bathroom too - so if you forget to bring your own, like we did, then you should be able to find something that suits you better than those godawful hotel shampoos. The chairs are very comfy and the kicthen would definitely be suitable for a short stay if you wanted to skip on eating out (there's several supermarkets less than 10mins walk away). There are a few issues that could be improved upon though: The crockery wasn't entirely clean for one, neither was the top of the microwave but I can write that off a small slip up. The staircase is narrow with quite small steps and the road outside gets very noisy at night so light sleepers be aware - but that's hardly the owners fault. More significantly however: the shower leaks in a few places so the floor is obviously water damaged which I expect will get worse with time. But the most significant issue is the inetrnet: it's atrocious 2005 era potato internet that is clearly a single connection for all the flats and likely has a few locals leeching off it too. We tried to stream stuff in the evening but it was hopeless with constant stuttering. The room has netflix but that wasn't any use for us. En fin lägenhet centralt i vackra The Lanes och nära piren. Bra och rymlig med fint kök.
