"Their office closed at 10:00pm so they sent me a code to open the lock box with our key since we would be arriving late. They provided breakfast but in a very clever, unique way. They made a deal with the restaurant next door so that the patrons of Dunes Inn could go to the restaurant and chose from 5 different breakfast meals, including orange juice or coffee, for free. The room itself was huge. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. We especially enjoyed having a small table and chairs. They do use an old-fashioned room key so they require a deposit when you register but you get it back. "
"This was a wonderful trip with the family. The tent was such a fun experience. Good to get away from technology but was still able to access it if needed in the lobby. Breakfast burritos and s’mores ever night were something to look forward to. Close to the falls and sand dunes.
Having bathrooms and showers were a bonus. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but still overall a great time. Would definitely go back and stay here again. "

"This is a great location for visiting Great Sand Dune National Park and surrounding area. The check-in process was simple and flexible. Our host met us in person and gave us a tour of the home ensuring we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the back deck was perfect for viewing the sunrise and the night sky. We will consider staying here again."
"This house is in the perfect location for maximizing your time at the Dunes & Zapata falls. We especially loved the beautiful view of the dunes from the porch. As Texans, we were very concerned about having no AC in July, but we were plenty cool, even cold, every night. There are a ton of great touches in and around the house to help us enjoy our time there. The comfy mattresses in the loft were perfect for the kids. We will be back again for sure! "

"The home was nice and clean with plenty of space for a family of 5. We were greeted with snacks and cold water in the fridge which were much appreciated. Nice big washer and a backyard with a picnic table and grill. Home stayed comfortable with just the breeze from the windows. Not much in the immediate area so I'd recommend getting groceries on your way in if needed. No dishwasher or lock on the bathroom door so if those are deal breakers, be aware, but we enjoyed our time and would definitely stay again if in the area! And if you're headed to the sand dunes, check out Spindrift Sandboards a few minutes up the road- the owner was great. "
