The staff were very warm and wonderful. The location is great. The room was very spacious. The bathroom was new and very clean. The only thing is the internet. It wasn’t very good! You definitely get your money’s worth and more!

An absolutely great stay
It was an absolutely great stay in Ronda. Garcia is the best host, cheerful, friendly, and super helpful. The place is great, close to all the attractions, and the room is nicely decorated, clean and spacious. There is a living room area with a small kitchenette in the room. The room also has a nice small balcony too. The rooftop patio is so beautiful, where you can sit and relax. I will definitely come stay in this place if I return to Ronda again. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful old building retaining its period character, but updated with modern facilities such as a lift and kitchenette. Lots of really thoughtful touches like tea, coffee and milk provided. Grazia was so helpful, arranging for our late arrival and providing laundry tablets on request. The beds were nice and hard - good for my back - and there was a charming balcony for coffee in the morning, plus a communal one with more sun. Great location in the quieter, south part of town, but moments from the bridge and various restaurants. Try the bar downstairs, owned by Grazia's brother

The room was very comfortable, quiet and cozy. Having a washer and handling clothes on our private terrace was really helpful. The hotel is also next to the cathedral which is in a perfect location.

Very comfortable digs!
This place is located in a section of Ronda that is separated from the rest of the town by a gorge and an old bridge. The bridge was under construction the day that we stayed there, so there were no cars allowed on that side. That was wonderful for us. It was very peaceful and quiet. We were greeted by a cheerful manager who got us settled. The apartment was awesome, with a good size living room, bedroom, small kitchen and bathroom. The place was spotless, the furnishings were beautiful and it all felt so cozy. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Perfect location in Ronda old town
The Colegiata sits right next to the church of Santa Maria La Mayor in the centre of Ronda old town. Perfect location for exploring the city, and tranquil at the same time. We had very good recommendations for walking tours and restaurants from our host, and also took advantage of the roof terrace to enjoy evening views over the city. Thoroughly recommend the place and would return to visit Ronda again.

Perfect place in Ronda
The hotel feels very historic but the facilities are actually modern. There's a lift so don't worry about luggages. The suite is spacious and equipped kitchen and living room. Parking is 15 EUR nearby.

Everything was wonderful....except the internet
Beautiful room, great ambience, nice kitchen facilities, comfortable. It would have been totally perfect if it wasn't that the internet kept stopping working. I spent almost 2 hours trying to make a reservation on the internet before giving up. As long as you are not a heavy internet user you will find this room absolutely perfect. It was nice to be able to wash our clothes to.

Car parking was 15 euros a day so factor that in your budget if driving but easy to get to apartment. Grace was excellent to help with anything. Washing machine only which was fine for me as I hang most things but if you had jeans or something heavy you made need a day to dry. Cozy warm as it was chilly while we were there. Loved the pillows

Wonderful apartments in Ronda
Perfect location in the old town. Loved hearing the church bells ring. Apartment was very clean and stocked with more than expected - coffee, sugar, olive oil, vinegar. Even laundry detergent was provided. Private terrace was delightful. We loved staying here. Gracia was helpful at all times.

Charming Hotel, Great location!
The room was cozy and great location. Check in was smooth and she made sure we had everything we needed and offered tips about town and when the best times to take photos were due to the heat. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked, which was great because it was very hot! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Gracia is gracious at La Colegiata.
We were there in the spring shoulder season before great hot weather so Ronda, being mountainous, was cold at times. Took us a while to figure out that the remote control for the air conditioner also worked the heater! Then got toasty warm. I liked that the shutters when closed made the room nice and dark so sleeping in was possible. The church bells next door were not loud; they were beautiful. The second floor had good wifii. The third floor did not...until we realized you just had to unplug and replug in the wifii booster next to the room (in the hallway). Also, hit the main light switch in the hallways to get light on the stairs. (Or take the very efficient elevator). Linens and towels are NOT changed daily but room is immaculate. There is a good washing machine and a drying rack. Gracia is absolutely lovely and accommodated our change in schedule. Even upgraded us to room on third floor with a view of the town. Close to Puento Nuevo (New Bridge) and to Historical City, EntreLenguas (to take Spanish lessons) and to Barrio San Francisco A few cafés closeby but be warned they do not open early, so best to grab a goodie from a bakery the day before (like Ronda Sweet in Barrio SFO) for your desayuno (breakfast) next day. Safe place.

Great apartment with Spanish charm
Beautiful apartment set in the old town of Ronda. Spacious, well equipped and very clean. We stayed for 5 nights and always found something new to discover in this gorgeous Spanish town. The apartment was quiet and in a historical part of the town. No hesitation in recommending this apparent and the wonderful friendly town of Ronda.

Perfect place to stay in Ronda.
Stayed for 2 nights in this unusual but truly lovely and stylish apartment. Gracia who is the charming lady who runs it was efficient and helpful before and during our stay. She organised at early morning taxi for our departure. We ate a delicious meal in the restaurant below and found that the location of La Colegiata was pretty perfect for seeing Ronda's sights.Highly recommended!

Great stay at La Colegiata de Ronda
We had a great stay at this apartment - it was very clean, spacious and quiet (despite being next to the Iglesia de Santa Maria la Mayor church and the church bells clanging during the Sunday morning mass.) We liked that the owner/operator had a communicated with us the hours that she will be around to hand over the keys so we were able to time our arrival. But be careful with parking in front of the restaurant (El Sacristan). While we were checking in, the super efficient parking enforcement were there promptly ready to tow away our car. Luckily, the very nice waiter(s) at El Sacristan restaurant alerted the apartment owner and she managed to talk to the tow truck people to not tow away our rental car.

Great place to stay. Location and service perfect.Owner is fluent in English. Roomy, handsome apartment with everything you need. Roof top deck right next to church steeple. Gorgeously lit up at night. Restaurant downstairs serves stupendous woodfired meat. Wow!

Best place that we stayed at during our 10 day visit to Andalucia. Comfortable and well appointed apartment, with a perfect location for exploring the town. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great value.

Great location and attentive staff.
We stayed for one night. We had a room on the second floor overlooking the gorge. Beautiful. The room was clean and had a lovely terrace to sit on. This was important as the room itself is quite small, with just enough room for two twin beds. There were nice gift bags of toiletries available, but we did not take them as we had sufficient items with us, but a lovely touch. The staff were welcoming and helped carry our luggage upstairs ( no elevator). There is free Wi-Fi. We were able to purchase hot tea in the lobby, but wish a pot of hot water came with the room (we carry our own tea). We braved the drive up to the parking plaza. It left me white knuckled. I would not recommend it for the weak of heart. But once we were parked, it was just a couple blocks downhill to carry our bags.

Ronda is a beautiful city and La Colegiata does it justice.The woman in charge,H. could not be nicer,as she really tried and managed to accomodate our requests.The location is just perfect,in a quiet little street by the church,park,town hall.There is paid parking nearby.The apartments are large,simply but nicely furnished,very comfortable,Ours had a little terrace with church and rooftops view.,Just lovely!We will love to return !

Is more of a bed and breakfast do it yourself
It a very freindly atmosphere don't expect the services a traditional hotel but is warm comfortable property that is ultra clean felt like staying longer but sis not have the time it's ideal for family parking is additional and a bit pricy 20 euros and you have to walk at least 2 blocks we were there at the night of the Holy Week and the town was totally packed, my first choise was a different hotel but I think I will stay here next time over that one. Will recommend as long as you know what it is.

Pleasant location and very helpful apartment manager. Previously worried about the narrow check in times but received an email after booking that allowed us to state when we were most likely to arrive and the manager was very helpful. Lovely apartment and quite comfortable. Ronda was a highlight of our trip.

the best hotel in my trip to Andalucia!!!
We only stayed for a short time but the experience was very gratifying, The apartments were very well equiped and centrally located, next to a beautiful park and church called La Colegiata. The lady that runs the hotel is very helpful and gave us all the details for sight seeing and good restaurants. The restaurant at the ground floor was excellent. The operation of the rest. is not relatd to La Colegiata. Parking was just next to the park and special rates are given to the guests.

Really beautiful apartments in a great location
The apartments at La Colegiata de Ronda are beautifully restored as well as being spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a stay in Spain, where you might want to make breakfast or a light meal. There is also a washing machine and microwave. The beds are very comfortable (firm matresses) and the bathroom was very luxurious with marble tiles and a huge shower. The host is a charming lady who does speak English and who has some really good recommendations for places to eat and shop. The location couldn't be better - in a gorgeous square with shady trees and several places to eat, while in easy walking distance of all the major things to see. It's close to the San Francisco area, which is less touristy and a great place to get an evening meal. We also walked from the bus station with our rucsacks which took about 20 mins. We really felt that these apartments were great value, and if anything rather under priced. It was nice to have a proper apartment with separate sitting room and bedroom instead of a studio set up. Also Wifi and aircon were very welcome additions. We would definately recommend this place to anyone visiting Ronda whether for sight seeing or walking holidays and hope to return ourselves before too long.

This place is wonderful. It's very conveniently located in the heart of the old historic part of the city, very close to the best restaurants and sites. Two days before the stay, the owner Hilde, emailed us about our stay and gave us detailed walking directions from the train. When we got here she met us herself and has been very available for anything that we have needed. The apartment is a spacious sitting room with built in kitchen and a separate bedroom with a large double bed. The whole place feels very old timey without skimping on any modern amenities. Internet was free, fast and always available. This was our second trip to Ronda and we have found our go to place to stay.

Superb Apartments in Picturesque Location
These apartments are in a picturesque historic square in a relatively quiet area. The apartments are clean, spacious and comfortable with a classic look. The proprietor Hilda was really welcoming and helpful and speaks great English. Even though these apartments do not overlook the Ronda Valley I doubt you could find anywhere as good to stay as this property. Kitchenette included a washing machine which really helped as we were on a road trip. Free wifi was also decent. Ronda is a great place to visit.

La Colegiata Hotel in Ronda Spain
Cons: If you have a MAC, Wifi does not work. No bug screens on windows. Our room did not have AC but we stayed in October where there was no need for AC. Poor lighting in the rooms. No Parking but public parking is near by for 22 euro a day. No food service. Pros: Location was amazing. It's located in the heart of the old town of Ronda in front of a beautiful plaza. Close to restaurants and shopping. I stayed on the top floor with an amazing view of the plaza. Bathroom was recently remodeled. Very clean apartments with small kitchen and well stocked. Very nice owners. Very nice!
