While the service was good, it lacked consistency and didn’t always meet the level one would expect at this price point. The dining was also just okay—pleasant, but not particularly memorable compared to other properties of this caliber. We enjoyed certain activities, particularly the polo experience, which was a standout. However, other offerings such as the hiking and meditation experiences felt underwhelming and not especially well executed. Our stay took an unexpected turn when we were unable to leave due to a cartel safety situation, requiring us to extend our stay by five additional days. While the team did their best under difficult circumstances and graciously comped one night, we felt there could have been more proactive guidance—particularly from the concierge—around support options such as travel insurance or alternative arrangements, given the significant added expense. The spa is well done, though pricing felt excessive even by New York standards, and the gym is adequate.
