The overall experience was great. The big issue was I thought I booked a room with a balcony facing the Merced river, instead mine was facing the road. It was still peaceful and overall okay. They blamed it on Expedia booking the room and that it always happens when you book through Expedia.
We stayed on the 2nd floor with pool (and sunset) views. We loved the hotel. For those visiting from Melbourne it's important to note the coffee from the shop was great!
