The hotel complex is relatively new in compare with others in the town. The problem is our unit faces the interior courtyard where some bar customer stayed up late and they were noisy. We could hear them talking even though we were at the top floor.
My overall experience with this hotel was good and I liked my staying. I ordered a suite of 2 rooms. The rooms were spacious with TV in each room, coffee maker and a small fridge. Bathroom was clean, very large, probably to allow wheel chair access. The hotel had a small shop which was convenient. ...
We like staying at Juniper Springs when we go to Mammoth. We always get a nice view and the sunrise is amazing. The indoor garage is perfect so we don't have to worry about bear attacks. But in one of the rooms the lamp wasn't working and I notified the reception once we checked in asking for them ...
I had a King suite which had a large balcony with a great view. It was convenient to Yosemite. There were great restaurants and lounges in the area plus a CVS nearby. The staff was very helpful. Even though the room was older it was clean and met my needs. The "breakfast" was sparse but it had coffee ...
nice hotel, near restaurants, supermarket after several days in Yosemite - chance to clean up, eat/drink, restock, charge the phones, catch up on the Internet - good value and easy to book.
With its wide-open spaces, beautiful views and non-stop outdoor activities, Yosemite National Park is a magnet for families. Book into one of Yosemite’s family-friendly hotels and explore nature trails, wild swimming spots, Gold Rush museums and charming mountain towns with adventure playgrounds.
The towns and villages surrounding Yosemite offer some wonderful family-friendly accommodation. There are plenty of family inns, lodges and resorts here that welcome children and do everything they can to ensure that the whole family has a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Family-friendly facilities vary from hotel to hotel, but you can expect to find extra beds, cots, blackout blinds, fridges and microwaves in many places. Some hotels offer babysitting or childcare and many have children’s pools, playgrounds and arcades for older children.
Children will love visiting Yosemite National Park. Even little legs will be able to manage some of the shorter walks in the park – and there are over 800 miles of trails to choose from. Older children can enjoy a longer hike or try out mountain biking, horse riding, rock climbing or rafting. Children will also enjoy a walk amongst the giant sequoia trees. Visit them at Mariposa Grove or Stanislaus National Forest. Yosemite runs an excellent junior ranger programme, including a special Little Cubs programme for smaller children. Find out more about this at the visitor centre in Yosemite Village.
In winter kids can have a go at skiing or snowboarding. Mammoth Mountain, to the east of the park, offers an extensive ski area with ski lessons available. You can also try the smaller Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area, a little way southwest of Yosemite Valley. If you’re headed to Mammoth, you won’t have direct access to Yosemite National Park itself, as heavy snowfall closes the Tioga Road.
Whatever you plan to do in this stunning national park, you can be sure of a good choice of family accommodation. Use Expedia’s search filters to find your ideal family-friendly hotel in Yosemite National Park.
