Yosemite National Park is open but please check their website for announcements that may affect your travel. We are monitoring announcements from local government offices because of the California Covid-19 shut down. As of now (Jan. 20 2021) vacation rentals are not allowed to host guests. We are accepting reservations but must comply with the government mandates. Some of our Covid-19 preparations include: -Contactless check in and check out. -No service workers will enter during your stay (except if there’s an emergency). -Enhanced sanitizing procedures with EPA approved products. -All blankets & linens are washed between guests. Extra time is scheduled between guests to provide time for the sanitizing process and extra cleaning. For this purpose we had to adjust our check in and check out times by one hour. Reservations are available with a 30 day, 100% cancellation policy. We will be flexible with cancellations as the park responds to Covid 19. We encourage our guests to purchase travel insurance in case of unforeseen situations. Excellent location inside Yosemite National Park. Remodeled in 2019, clean, spacious & comfortable. Approximately 2100 sq. ft. Extremely easy front door access. Level parking just a few feet away. No need to haul your gear up flights of stairs! Lower cost per person than the price of a local hotel room. Approximate 25 minute, beautiful drive from the main areas of the park. No waiting in a long line at the gate because you’re already inside. Property manager lives nearby. Deer are often seen in the yard. Restaurants and grocery store within about a 25 minute beautiful drive, winter snow play area about 8 minutes away and Badger Pass Ski area is about 15 minutes away. (Due to Covid-19 & cleaning requirements our designer quilts had to be put into storage.) Our home has three stories, but due to county code regulations guests are limited to using the top two stories. The basement is locked off but may be utilized by the cleaning staff or property owner by a separate entry way. WiFi: Being in this mountainous location, there is no broadband internet available anywhere nearby. WIFI is thru Verizon which is sufficient for checking e-mail and basic internet use, speeds vary according to Verizon's abilities. Verizon Wireless phone service has reception in our location, most other carriers do not. As you travel around the park, you may have areas of reception depending upon the mountainous terrain & your cellular provider. The home is equipped with a hard wired land line, free local calls. STANDARD PRICING QUOTES include up to 4 guests. No added cleaning fees. The home capacity is a total of 7. Some listings on VRBO may appear to have a lower price- but that may be only for 2 people. They will charge per person and will likely add on a cleaning fee. On rare occasions we experience power, television or cellular/internet service outages. In case of power outage the house is equipped with battery powered lights and propane for cooking/heat. We cannot be held responsible for outages by the utility company. WINTER TRAVEL: Bring tire chains & brush for your car windows. Park in driveway. We shovel the snow prior to your arrival. If it happens to snow while there, snow shovels are available for your use. Property Manager will remove snow from the driveway entrance as needed if the county snow plows create a blockage. Winter Ski Area, 2020-2021 season the park has announced that the ski area will be closed due to COVID-19. "The County of Mariposa states: Governor Newsom's Executive Order N-33-20 & associated guidance of the California Public Health Officer continue to apply statewide. These advise Californians to avoid traveling long distances for vacations and pleasure as much as possible. This is to snow the spread of Coronavirus. Do not travel if you are sick or if someone in your household has had Coronavirus in the past two weeks. Do not travel with someone who is sick."
