"Great place to lay your head. "
Room was welcoming. Bed was comfortable. All the amenities you would expect, TV, microwave, frig, wifi, sitting area. The staff was over the top accommodating. We arrived before the 3:00 check-time and needed to dress for the wedding our assigned room was not ready so the staff found another allowing us to check in early. The only negative would be the heater. Although it worked very well it was noisy.

"Cozy place. Quiet, beautiful scenery. Friendly and"
I would recommend this place. We brought our dog and had agreed time. The place is small and cozy. In a great location tucked away from the highway. I loved sitting out on the deck attached to our room and I could walk down to the river.

"comfortable "
The sty was comfortable however, the wifi service was pretty. Ad and it was very hard to get any online work done. Mobile network coverage is also pretty bad in the area this would really like to have a good wifi connection. If not, rooms were of good size and clean. Was very easy for us to get to Yosemite within an hour.

"one night stunt to Yosemite"
Good: location, rooms are awesome, fridge in room, indoor pool for the winter, ice rink on site, quick check-in, Dog friendly, beautiful lobby decorated for Christmas. Bad: Expensive and under average food - think 3x the real price, restaurant attention was poor. Building has leaks, and they were addressing them with buckets. Bottom line: did it once, may stay again for the right price, absolutely not paying such high prices for food.

This place is old and rustic. If your into large five star hotels with all the amenities then this isn't the place for you. Don't know if the place was built in the 1800s, early 1900s or built to look authentic with the town environment ? We were up graded to a cottage for $10 more. That was nice. Didn't have to go into the hotel each time, climbing up and down the stairs to our room. The cottages are single units along the parking lot. The only thing that is modern is the entry door, microwave, iron and flat screen television. Staff was very nice. Parking is very small and tight. If your vehicle is a Ford 150 and larger or you have difficulties maneuvering in tight places, you are better off parking on the street. If do use the parking lot, don't park under certain trees. You'll find your vehicle covered with large acorns and the liquid from the tree. Maybe this only happens if there's dew in the air. I went to a car wash when I saw this in the morning so it wouldn't stain my truck. All and all, it was a comfortable place. I might try this again next time?
