"Nice Hotel. Overall pleasant stay!"
Hotel is pretty nice. It has a tiny gym area , pool , serves breakfast in the morning. The staff was helpful. Nice big room. A little outdated furniture but not a big concern. I would definitely recommend staying here.

"Good location and comfortable hotel"
The dinner thing was complicated, several restaurants closed and the one open was super expensive, buffet was so full and they closed the line at 7:45 pm.

"Nice Hotel to visit Yosemite "
The Hotel is directly next to the YARTS bus stop that takes you to Yosemite in about 2 hours. The room was clean, the beds were really comfortable, and we had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine in our room. Parking is directly in front of the rooms and check-in was really easy.

"Convenient and spacious"
Room is spacious (for this price range). Clean bathroom and towels but there were marks on the carpet. It's right off 108- very convenient on the way to ski. The building is elevated on the slope of a small hill and does not face traffic directly. Serene mountain view in the morning.

"Great vacation stay!"
Great hotel at an awesome mountain location. only issue was our room was freshly renovated and still smelled of new paint. the smell over 3 days was very strong so we had to open the windows. fortunately we were able to enjoy the beauty of mammoth and be out of the room for a good portion of the time. great shops in the village and friendly staff made the trip still amazing!

"Great location!"
This Best Western Plus hotel is a clean hotel with friendly staff. It's pet friendly and we were given a little "welcome kit" for our dog (nice touch!). There is a restaurant on-site and breakfast is free. It's nice that they have rooms that are located inside as opposed to rooms that just open to the outside. We prefer the inside rooms. It's a great place, inexpensive, has friendly staff, rooms were clean and had fresh towels and we will definitely stay here again.

"Nice Hotel In The Mountains"
This is the second time we have stayed here, and it was just as nice as the first time around. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. No hassle with check in or check out. They have an indoor pool and hot tub that is clean, and especially fun when it's snowing outside. Shower has good pressure and the water stays hot. Breakfast is included which is really nice. They have cold cereals, toast, bagels, pastries, and then you can order eggs or omelettes. They also have bacon, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt and hot oatmeal. This hotel is really close to everything, including The Mammoth Lodge.

Pocket Guide: Child Friendly Hotels in Yosemite National Park

Is Yosemite National Park is a destination for children? There’s no question. With fresh air, wide open spaces, organised kids’ activities and lakes and rivers to swim in, it’s a children’s paradise. Even better, there is a good range of child-friendly hotels in Yosemite, helping parents out with little touches such as cots, extra beds, laundry service, childcare and even kitchen facilities.

Choosing a Child-Friendly Hotel in Yosemite National Park

Child-friendly hotels in Yosemite range from simple two-star inns to well-equipped four-star resorts complete with pools, spas and on-site restaurants. Most Yosemite National Park accommodation can be found in towns to the west, the south and the east of the park, but you’ll have no trouble getting around, even if you don’t have a car – just pick up the local YARTS bus services that run into the park. Most lines terminate at Yosemite Village.

Activities for Children in Yosemite National Park

Kids will love exploring Yosemite. The park has over 800 miles of hiking trails, including shorter hikes that small children can enjoy and mid-length parks that allow older kids to get off the beaten track and explore. Head for the visitor centre in Yosemite Village to pick up more information. Zip lining, rock climbing, horse riding and rafting are all available within the park, so you’re guaranteed activity-packed days that leave the kids worn out and ready for bed!

    Organised Activities and Educational Programmes

There are junior ranger programmes in the park for over-sevens, and small kids can take part in the Little Cub programme. If you’re visiting the park in winter, head to the small Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area for gentle slopes and good tuition. There are also other winter sports available in the area such as ice-skating and snow tubing, which kids are guaranteed to love. Finally, don’t miss a visit to the Mariposa Grove of ancient giant sequoias. Even grown-ups will feel dwarfed by these magnificent trees.

Yosemite National Park is a child-friendly destination through and through – and luckily the region has hotels to match. Use Expedia’s search filters to find your ideal child-friendly accommodation in Yosemite.
