The Royal Oak Inn is located in York. Yorkshire Moors and Dalby Forest Visitor Centre reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo and Ampleforth Abbey. Yorkshire Lavender and The Moors National Park Centre are also worth visiting.
Lovely pub in a very quiet and picturesque part of the North York Moors. Had the delicious special for breakfast which consisted of kippers and eggs.
Lovely stay, very comfortable , lovely cottage style rooms, food was very good, bar service good, only criticism was we waited 20 minutes to order our evening meal, but we accept that it was a busy Saturday night, we will stay again

Gillamoor is a quiet village, very well situated for exploring the area. The Inn holds a prime position next to the green where you can sit outside and eat or drink. We had a superior room with a massive bed and plentiful supplies for making hot drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful.
