- Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
- Disliked: Amenities
Lovely staff but poorly managed: - Twin beds when we ordered double - Didn't have the wine they initially offered - Hand written 'menue' (sic) with only 7 main courses - The main course I ordered was supposedly no longer available but did in fact turn up albeit missing a main ingredient. - Breakfast chef did not turn in so no 'full English' - Final bill excluded our dinner from the previous night (we corrected). Otherwise, the rooms were clean and the pub has a decent atmosphere. The village (Escrick) is chocolate-box pretty (but quiet).
