The pool being closed is posted on the website. It is disappointing that guests booking through Expedia seem to miss that information. All hotels also have a phone number for questions. We are happy to assist 24 hours a day.

I have review the “length” of time it took to check you in. It was not 30 minutes. Service industry staff are for sure new. Most customers are happy someone is working. Expedia does not cover incidental charges so you do have to give an additional credit card. Expedia regulations to not trust that all customers will not smoke in rooms, etc.

Tara Goodwin IL We acknowledged we have crickets. We are in an agricultural state by corn and bean fields. We get crickets based on weather. We spray and clean daily. The question asked of you was if you have any challenges where you are from. By the look on your face, I am sure you have never thought of that before. It was simply a conversation so more cancel culture does not occur. Being south of Chicago, we could maybe have much to talk about. I personally went into your room after you left because of your terminology “infested” and took pictures. We will respectfully disagree.

It is clearly listed online that the pool is closed. We understand the frustration but cannot make you read it. We encourage you to call the hotel directly.

Seems different than the complaint you made this morning. It is below freezing but we will definitely check the air conditioning in the morning. Hot water worked perfectly when it was checked right after you left. Please remember, if you are unhappy, reach out to the staff immediately…we would love the opportunity to help make your stay the most pleasant.
