Truly excellent hotel, right next to Shin-Yokohama Station. A tip for getting there: take the Shinkansen exit and walk straight across the plaza to the smaller side street, rather than walking towards the McDonalds. Hotel itself is wonderful and is probably the nicest smelling hotel I've ever stayed in. The Japanese-style room is pretty cool, as is the breakfast in the restaurant "Gin".

清潔でした。リニューアルした後のスーペリアダブルのお部屋に泊まりましたが、2人でも大きさは十分でインテリアも素敵でした。お風呂も綺麗だったのでオススメです。

Stayed for two nights for the RWC, staff were very friendly and breakfast super. Close to train station and stadium, perfectly clean. Small but functional room. Only downfall was we hadn’t realised we had a Smoking Room which being non smokers had a lingering smell which we disliked.

Fantastic Stay at the SHIN YOKOHAMA GRACE HOTEL
My wife was the one actually staying at the Shin Yokohama Grace Hotel for 5 nights in September 2018 while attending Tamaki Hiroshi's Meet & Greet Event. Here is her review: -> Great customer service. The AC in my room wasn't working correctly & it's blowing on me. When I called the front desk, 1 staff came to check immediately. I got another room within less than 10 minutes after he came to check on the AC himself. -> Most of the front desk staff speak & understand English, which is rare. Even when hubby called, there was no problem transferring his calls to me. -> The Shin Yokohama Grace Hotel is located about 2 mins walk from the Shin Yokahama Station North Gate Exit; it's in between Daily Yamazaki (the best convenient store) & 7-11; it's across the street from Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel where a big supermarket is located in its basement; it's very near a lot of restaurants & stores.

Great location if you're visiting Shin Yokohama.
We stopped in Shin Yokohama for a night after flying into Narita airport. The Grace hotel is very close to the station, though it may be a bit hard to find the first time (we went out the wrong exit from the station, so we had to find a map). Like another reviewer said, the rooms are a bit dated but it still seemed clean. Front lobby looked nice and the staff were very polite. Even after we checked out, we were able to check our luggage and explore near by areas without baggage, which was very nice.

Nice hotel next to Shin-Yokohama Station
We just came from a 7.5 hours Shinkansen train ride from Kumamoto to Yokohama. My wife refuses to travel no more so just booked this hotel on the fly and it was literally 2-3 minutes walk from Shin-Yokohama station to the hotel. Hotel is very well managed and definitely earns its ratings.

Location is convenient...near shops and train. Rooms and bed too small. Service was excellent. Needed to extend stay for one extra day and they came thru and assisted us with all our luggage to next hotel for airport service. For that we give staff an Excellent!

Grace Hotel - best place for Yokohama Arena
I was staying in Shin Yokohama for a 3 days concert in Yokohama Arena. Having a hotel that is just 5 minutes walk in winter time is truly convenient. Another thing about the location worth mentioning is that Shin-Yokohama station is also within 5 mins walk. Last but not least - it is actually the best reason for me to choose Grace hotel again when next I am in town will be the staff in the hotel. They are truly very customer oriented and their willingness to help is second to none. The front desk manager - unfortunately I didn't remember her name, is definitely one person who made my stay there very memorable. Never before I met a hotel staff who is really helpful.

Overall, the hotel was good. I wander they are planning to remodel the hotel. My room wall had many scuffing and scratches. The carpet was old and bath tub floor was cushy. Rusty paint around window. The elevators were dark and feel like 90's deco.

Great location but out-dated
This hotel located right next to Shin-Yokohama station. The second closed to the station as one is ON the station building. The facility is very old, just like a Japanese "business hotel" in 1990's. Small room, out-dated design, still using room KEY so that you have to drop it when you go out. Although there is not much the hotel can do about them but I think the hotel stuffs could do better. When I came to the front desk to drop my key, there were three people taking care of 2 guests. To my simple math, one of them could take care of me. However, none of them gave even a glance. Completely ignored.

Small room big surprise!
I stayed in this hotel last night. At first I wondered why the four star rating was given for such a small room. I soon experienced a very comfortable bed, friendly staff, and an old charm in using a Key to access the room. The lobby has a Christmas tree set up with the smell of pine in the air. I would stay at this hotel in the future.
