The room was large as was the bathroom (loved the walk in shower after a long day of sightseeing!). The balcony looking out towards the ocean was postcard perfect. All the staff I met were professional, polite and friendly. Location was great as well - close to buses and lots of shops/restaurants. Very walkable area and a lovely hotel to stay at.

Lovely hotel inbetween Selima and St Julian’s all walkable and right next to the bus stop for travelling farther afield. Loads of activities for all the family. Maybe the only (very slight) negative was the breakfast buffet which wasn’t as good as others we’ve had at similar star hotels.

The hotel staff were all very helpful and courteous. Facilities were excellent. Perhaps consider adding heating to the outside pool for Spring time.

A perfect location to move around Malta. The room was great and spacious with a beautiful view to the bay. The finning options were great and diverse. Service at restaurants was good. My son and I had fun jumping from the indoor pool to the outdoor pools. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, always with a smile.

We loved our stay, the room had everything we needed, the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful and the facilities were great. A few tiny quibbles with room layout (glass door on the toilet isn't the best idea!) and some little spots of wear and odd plumbing fittings, and no space for our own things in the mini-bar fridge, drag my rating down from 5 to 4.8 It's very convenient for public transport, there's a bus stop near the hotel with direct routes to the airport among other places, and there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars in Balutta and neighbouring Spinola, and it's walkable to the shopping areas of Sliema. Mostly we just enjoyed relaxing in the hotel's bar terrace.

Excellent location, friendly courteous staff, clean, good spa facilities and walkable to many restaurants. Having toured round the island and comparing with other hotel locations, we found Marriott Hotel to be in the best location.

The service and friendliness of the hotel staff was amazing. It was what hospitality should be like and once many years ago was. Quality and variety of breakfast was brilliant. Our room was clean with hard flooring and not a dirty carpet. Every staff member you come across, acknowledge you including senior management. Wonderful spa.

We had the best time from the minute we arrived at the hotel best service we have recieved on par with the 5star resort hotels we have stayed in Dubai. The gentleman that checked us in (didn't catch his name) was truly lovely he helped us with any question we needed and went the extra mile to make our time extra special. From the staff at the breakfast buffet to the concierge to housekeeping, I can not fault them. Really good service all around. Highly recommend anyone with or without kids to come to this hotel when visiting Malta.

Extensive hotel facilities. Outdoor pool. Separate Adult sunbathing terrace. Spa, indoor pool, sauna,gym,multiple restaurants. Hotel has a really nice feel to it. Tranquil and elegant. Superb stay in Club room. Large room. Two queen beds, bath as well as shower; separate toilet which was nice. Balcony overlooking sea. Access to executive lounge amazing. Fantastic breakfast- huge selection from cooked to cold- catering for every palate. An enormous array of cold drinks in two large fridges, coffee machine,fruit, tasty cookies and muffins available throughout the day. At 5pm huge selection foods available til 7pm all beautifully prepared and presented. Evening drinks til 9 continue. Lovely views over harbour. Staff well trained, attentive ,courteous but friendly. Nothing is too much trouble consistently across all the departments Location good. Promenade great for running or walking. Tiny sand beach in hotel front. Good access to organised trips to Valletta or Gozo. October weather great 🌞 Negative: Well equipped gym and size but only one of each item so when 3 taken out use for maintenance you notice. Maintenance could easily be planned for an afternoon or morning for such small amount equipment but was several days and we’d left. Surprised as rest of hotel very efficient

This was a very clean, quite hotel, with excellent staff always wanting to help,until you actually need there help. My main disappointment was that I booked a courtyard view, but being on the 6th floor,you had a long way to look down. our only view were the tanks on top of the next building. I asked to be moved and was shown a 5th floor room which looked out on to a plank wall.(even the member of staff who showed me the room said it was no better). When I said that that was no better. I was offered an upgrade if I paid for it. (another£200) Which would not be ready until the next day. we desided to stay where we were and not change the next day. This did spoil our holiday as we like to sit out and look at the veiw.

This was a top-notch stay. I would especially like to thank Ashok at the pool and bar and the housekeeping staff for being so amazing with stellar services (and nighttime chocolates). Everyone went above and beyond, and it's arguably the best hotel experience I've ever had because of the little things. The smiles, the hellos, the asking if I need anything, always feeling totally taken care of. Can't recommend enough, and I'll remember everyone at the Marriott forever.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Booking through Expedia denied us Marriott points and meant we couldn’t use the Bonvoy system. Other than this it was a lovely place and we had a great time.
