We didn’t realise it was going to be so loud, clearly a party destination. Probably would have got a better nights sleep at Holiday Inn across the road. Very loud, struggled to sleep, pillows were awful, very flimsy & felt cheap. Not enough storage, no sockets at bedside table. Mould around bathroom tiles, especially on the floor. Lots of cracks, marks in the bathroom & bedroom. Room window covered in mould and dust. Even the ‘what’s on’ leaflet was sticky, food stuck to it. Grubby hotel rooms Staff were all lovely however, just run down establishment. Breakfast options very limited, watery scrambled egg, undercooked bacon, sausages were small but nice. Potato bits were dry and pretty grim. If you’re a vegetarian you have the option of cereal, croissants, pain au chocolat, toast. Wasn’t a lot of choice like. Felt like hunger games haha! Didn’t bother getting food at the hotel either evening as was expensive and didn’t fancy being disappointed.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Not much in way dining options and what was available was quite expensive. Some minor cleaning problems with the room but nothing we couldn’t overcome, I wasn’t able to connect my phone to the tv due to some technical issues, but overall a nice stay. The sauna was under repair at the time but the other facilities were available and clean.

Booked on Hotels.com said rooms were available. Paid in Advance. Arrived to be told they are fully booked and deliberately over book rooms by 10%. This was at 23:30 at night..... I had not heads up from the hotel that they were fully booked

New Years Eve Nightmare!
New Years Eve was lovely until we arrived home to blood, sick, police, drama and parties until 5am. No sleep, very tired and overall really disappointed. Wouldn’t stay here again for New Years. Normally a nice hotel.

Nice but noisy
Nice room, good gym and pool. Comfortable bed, hot shower everything nice. What is not nice is drunk people laughing and screaming outside the entrance when you try to sleep. They need to be moved on / culled by the hotel. Or fit triple glaze windows. Food in the bar is average and way overpriced. There’s a walkable pub called the Parkbrook and food is fantastic and well priced.

Gym is not included when booking through 3rd party
Booked a village hotel to use the gym whilst away on business. Only to be told when checking in that because I’d booked on Experian the gym was not included. Booked room service, told it would be with me at 6:20pm. Rang reception to chase at 7pm. Food arrived 5 minutes later, chips were luke warm. Room was clean, bed very comfy.

The room was good. But I was woke up up at 13.10 am a few times by apparently false alarm. My night was broken. Breakfast disgusting! Bread stale, eggs looking like crap. NO healthy food - fat, tastless.

The property and my room was very nice. I would have given it a 5 star, But, on 25th Nov the fire alarm went off at 1:15 am. Altho after we were out off our room an staff member ran down the corridor say false alarm. We were given no reason why it went off, then it went off a second time. Disturbed our sleep and ended up with a very bad night at hotel. There was nothing to say what happened or even a sorry from staff when we checked out. No information at all for the distresse it coused. I had a 3 year old grand son with me. Did not know we could sleep safely or if the place would burn down and we should have gone outside.

Good facilities on site including gym and pool. Room good we may have got unlucky with noisy neighbours as not sure if walls are really thin or they were really loud shame as that’s the only thing that affected my stay/ sleep
