We stayed for one night and found the ghotel close to the station and town centre with a clean room and comfy bed coupled with extras like sky cinema where you only needed to change the language via tools to get english audio.

My husband and I traveled with another couple. We had superior double room on the 3rd floor - so more space and a balcony - and a great view. The other couple had a larger room and a couch. Breakfast, staff, rooms, linens, all good - though they charged extra for eggs. Go figure. The front desk even printed our boarding passes for our flight home.
It was close to public transportation and walking distance to a lot of the shops, tourist attractions and restaurants . The staff was very helpful. It had quality wifi and was clean, comfortable and spacious.
Enjoyed stay but was very disappointed in the slow and erratic wifi connection. This wasted a lot of time trying to access emails and websites. Definitely below acceptable for a 3 star hotel with the TOP brand.
"Modest, convenient location by train, good price."
This is a very basic bed and shower with no frills. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. The location is exactly opposite the train station and a few minutes walk to anywhere in the town. There was theoretically free Internet service but it has a complex login process and email verification that didn't work on either of my email addresses. So the Internet was unusable for me and I am fairly technically savvy.
It is a standard German hotel - clean and organized. The parking is very close to the hotel and the staffs are very friendly. Wuerzburg itself is a very charming city - so you feel good about almost everything.
The drawback is the lack of fridge in the room and you will have to pay for water and coffee in the lobby.
The neighbor is a gas station. The staff (originally from Egypt) is super friendly. You can buy ice there if you have children and they really want to have cold drinks...
