This charming cottage is the right spot for your next family vacation! Just one house away from the beach and a short stroll to the local restaurants and shops, this delightful cottage perfectly blends convenience and privacy. The spacious deck is perfect for outdoor dining, soaking in the sun, or just enjoying the ocean and local wildlife. “Surf Charlotte” welcomes you with open arms and you will know you made the right choice as soon as you walk through the front door! The open living dining area is cozy and elegant, making a comfortable gathering space after a long day on the beach. The double living room floor plan provides a generous space for your family to spread out and the smart TV’s, two of which have Apple TV’s, make it easy for everyone to enjoy their favorite shows and the 3 Bose SoundTouch speakers are Bluetooth enabled so you can listen to music throughout the house! Just off the main living room is the kitchen which features stainless steel appliances, a lovely tile back splash and tons of natural light. The first queen guest bedroom is located between the living rooms and is outfitted with a luxurious memory foam mattress and serviced by the hall bathroom. The second living room is not only charming and full of character, but is also an efficient use of space as the sofa converts to a sleeper, allowing for an additional sleeping area. Just down the hall is a laundry room, two more queen bedrooms equipped with memory foam mattresses and the second full bathroom. The ground floor includes an outdoor shower and outdoor storage so you can conveniently store all your beach equipment. There is off-street parking for 3 vehicles, one in the driveway and two spots under the house which are accessed from East Atlanta Street. You won’t want to leave Surf Charlotte so load up your family, beach gear, four-legged friend and come start a new Wrightsville Beach tradition! Occupancy: 8 Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in summer. Minimum of 2-night stay in other seasons. Bedding Configuration: 3 Queen, 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa. Parking: Assigned parking on site for 3 vehicles. Pet Policy: Pet Policy: Dogs welcome as an optional add-on for this property with a non-refundable fee of $250 + tax that is charged per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation. Charge will be added after booking when the option to bring a pet and number of pets are selected. Nonrefundable fees are listed in the House Rules and animals must be disclosed via the Rental Agreement. Fees are not included automatically when booking on VRBO and must be paid separately to the host if you wish to bring a pet(s). Failure to disclose and prepay for dogs will result in penalty fees which are disclosed in House Rule #16\. The house has a great layout, is nicely furnished, and the location right of the beach path was fantastic. The staff at Bryant Realty were very helpful and professional. My husband and I stayed at this house for a mini “honeymoon”. We said “we need to come back here!” several times during our stay. It’s a super close walk to the beach (maybe 10 steps to beach access), has an enormous patio, and the house is beautifully decorated. Also within walking distance of some good restaurants and only a few miles from a Harris Teeter. There were a few minor cleanliness things that we noticed, but nothing alarming— the property overall was very clean and well kept! ##### Maddie G. We really enjoyed the location, layout, comforts and various sitting spaces. Pleasant surprises: there's a screen that blocks the front deck stairs so dogs and children don't go down the stairs. The outdoor shower is amazing. Something I wished I packed: Hairdryer. The warm air did the trick, but it looked horrible. LOL It's one house away from the beach and walking distance to town. The gate on the deck gave him free range to look around outside without worry of him running onto the street to visit others. The house was quite spacious and well maintained. We did have someone get locked in the master bedroom because the doorknob was broken, but we reported it and were assured it will be fixed. I’d go back! Today. I’d go back today. 😁 ##### Valerie C. We were very disappointed with the company that provided things like trash bags, dishwasher detergent, towels and the fact that there was a additional charge for having beds made. No hose attached to faucet to rinse off after being on the beachFor a 5 day stay and the price per night I think only providing 1 trash bad and 4 towels is not appropriate for that price point. Beware excessive pet fees ! OK house with a great location. Nothing modern or fancy but a good house nonetheless. Not beach front but very close. Only complaint was the excessive pet fee. We were not aware until we were booking and unfortunately the house was our only option for our dates and the location we needed. There was a $200 pet fee PER PET! I do not recall seeing that in the listing itself. We were charged $400 for two 10 pound older, lazy dogs. I have never paid that much in pet fees and we travel often. My wife often will clean any rentals upon leaving, so we left the place spotless. So again, $400 for the pets was a bit ridiculous and was a bit greedy if you ask me. If you want to charge money upon discovering any damage from a pet that is one thing, but to charge this amount up front is crazy. ##### Al K. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by an absolutely filthy kitchen on arrival. Dirty dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils in shelves and cupboards. Unusable dishwasher. No dish cloths or oven mitts. Fortunately, Bryant was willing to send a top-notch team to rectify.
