Our Family enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and very clean. Our meals were excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but they could use some remodeling other than that we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The manager was a wonderful person, but the resort all together is a waste of money and time. It’s very expensive for the food and the service that they provide. Food is very limited and not good. Rooms definitely need upgrades specially the bathrooms

Terrible for accessibility requirements
I would not recommend this resort for anyone with a disability. It appears that this resort has only 1 room suitable for accessibility needs, which was not disclosed when booking. We contacted the resort directly at the time of booking and requested an accessibility room with a walk-in shower, which they promised to reserve for us. However on arrival it was not made available for us. Instead we were presented with a low bath with limited access - the toilet was immediately adjacent to the end of the bath & the shower screen blocked access at the top of the bath. They did provide a stool within the bath, but we still had the negotiate the assault course access to that bath. At least the room was on the ground level, so access to most of the facilities was possible. However the elevator in our wing to the upper floor dining broke down for half of the trip, requiring us to find al alternative elevator in a different wing.

I have been to Barbados a number of times and this is the worst stay. The room was dated, the food was horrible and limited. There was no good entertainment and the beach was rocky. I will never stay at an all inclusive again in Barbados again. The staff was kind and accommodating. The front desk, wait staff and housekeeping was amazing.

Overall our stay was very good. We did have an issue with lack of hot water the first night but it was handled quickly. There was also a leak from the room above that caused a puddle in our room, again handled quickly. My complaint would be that our bathroom needed a major renovation. There were cracks in the ceiling and the tub was in poor condition with old cracked sealer around it. Housekeeping did a nice job each day. The buffets were good and had varieties for everyone, including kids choices. The staff was generally friendly and responsive to any requests.

We arrived at the hotel with two rooms confirmed by Expedia only to be told by the receptionist that the hotel was full. This failure is down to Expedia (not the hotel). I tried to get compensation from Expedia but with no success. I assume Expedia took its commission. This, at least, should have been refunded. I am unlikely to use Expedia again.

Close to airport. Easy transfer. Great beach for walking and swimming. Resort is older but clean , comfortable and quiet most of the time. Great for a relaxing laid back vacation. Not a party spot. Just 2 non buffet restaurants but ok for the size of property and for one week stay. We will go back again.

Your resort is in dire need of re conditioning. Nice setup on a beach that requires a break wall like the property next door. Food was incredibly poor with little fresh fruit available. Cooks had incredible lineups for breakfast. Certainly could use more of them with additional cookers. Lack of daily poolside entertainment....water aerobics, etc. We are little dissappointed overall in this resort that is on such a beautiful island with the friendliest people we have encountered in the 10 or so islands that we have visited , so far, in the Caribbean. Perhaps with the recent takeover and a delay in doing so with covid, improvements are coming. At that point, we may consider returning.

No booking when we arrived the receptionist asked us to wait and the manager would come and speak to us eventually after an hour receptionist came and asked for our passports reiterated the manager would come and see us (still here seen the manager to this day). I take it that they found the booking because she eventually told us everything was fine. Tv in room didn’t work explained this to reception they changed tv three times it worked for about an hour so no TV the time we were there. On the last day we asked to keep our room on $75 until 6pm which we were happy to pay but am my husband went back to the room about 1.30 the key card didn’t work so he went to reception and they said sorry we couldn’t have a room!!!! What an absolute disaster of s hotel.

Beach was excellent with great waves and good for long walks on the beach. Food was great with good variety. Is it due for updates? Yes but it's still a great place with large rooms (you're only there to sleep). Walkable to St Lawrence Gap without the noise and parties. Very friendly staff and the waterfront activities are easily arranged/booked. Renaldo is the best. Would return in a heartbeat!

The staffs at Turtle beach was very nice and pleasant. They responded promptly to your needs. The property is nice, the food is decent. No major complaints. I would consider this property a quiet property, more for rest and relaxation.I would definitely return and recommend this property.

Expectations sadly unfulfilled.
Everything service wise is is sub standard. The food is generally very poor with very few exceptions. Some staff are excellent but most clearly do not like their jobs or their guests and let it show. We encountered 3 outstanding team members. Lannelle, Maradona. Yes really. And the egg lady who's name if unfortunately forgotten. Front of house were disappointing. All talk. No action with basic requests. Default answer seems to be NO. As Marriott Gold Elite members this was particularly disappointing. Compared to Waves hotel in the same group the difference is stark. Needless to-say we won't be returning. Shame really as the property has much potential.

Far exceeded my expectations!
I’ll give you a real review of Turtle Bay resort.. I loved almost everything about it! Room was cleaned daily and cleaned very very well! Almost all of the staff I encounter was very happy and helpful. If you tip the bartenders you’ll get amazing service. Room had a great view of the ocean. Property was kept clean all around the grounds. Room was nice mins the tv had damage to the screen with a big line down the middle. No big deal as I didn’t really use the tv often. Food was basic all inclusive food… It was 6-7/10… but that’s on par with most all inclusive I’ve ever been too. I prefer to leave the resort and get really good food. The area is very safe and I walked all around and never felt un easy. Just always be aware of surroundings at night (anywhere). I will for sure come back to this resort for the beautiful beach and great staff!
