We have just returned from 16 days at the Coral Sands Beach Resort. Its always a risk going to the Caribbean at this time of year because of possible hurricanes - BUT if the weather works out ok it's the best time of the year to travel there. This is because it is so quiet and the hotel/flight prices are at their lowest.
If you like everywhere open and busy then September/October is probably not the best time to go but we loved it because its slow and quiet so an ideal time!!
Great boutique style hotel right on a small beach - EVERY room has a good sea view. We were in 404 which is probably the best room in the hotel, top floor in the middle of the block. Stunning view - you won't get a better view on the island !! Nice large balcony to sit and relax with a beer.
Very quiet beach with handful of swimmers around - Huge room with everything you need, good kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. VERY clean and could not fault the room.
Nice staff, very helpful.
Also good access to The Gap, supermarkets and even a bank next door !! -
Lots of places to eat within a 5 minute walk.
We had a car for all the time we were on the island and it was such a pleasure being able to drive along the east coast of the island where there are far fewer people, but spectacular beaches ( no general swimming on the east coast because of dangerous sea currents and conditions )
So all round a great small hotel and we would certainly return at the drop of a hat.!!
