"WiFi wasn't great..kept dropping off. Have to watch ads to connect. My key cards lost access to my room. Staff said "that happens sometimes, we don't know why". Everything else was great."

"We were a party of 5 older women (74-80 yo) in two 2 double bed rooms each w/a pull out couch. The rooms were neat & clean with a sink outside the shower & commode. This was very helpful when getting ready in the am. The breakfast was plentiful with an outstanding staff. The 24 hr coffee station opposite the check-in was also a godsend for our many coffee drinkers. The refrigerator & microwave w/shelves & cabinet area was also extremely convenient for leftovers. Being able to unload our cars at the front onto luggage racks was also a plus! Overall we had great weather, & this hotel provided easy access to Portland for our varied excursions (trolley thru town & out to Portland Head Light, a cruise to House Island w/tour of Fort Scammel, & the 4 stop Walking Donut loop accompanied by a history of the city) added up to a great 3 day weekend!"

"I love the suite format with separate rooms, kitchen, etc. Brand new hotel with veneer already peeling off cupboards, otherwise everything worked, shower hot, there was a bathtub too! Bed was great, curtains blacked everything out - no real noise. The gym was well equipped and always open - a plus! No breakfast, and not much available within walking distance but the supermarket is close. Good location, did not try brewery next door but it was very popular. Wifi good. Staff helpful and courteous. Parking awkward because it was packed - good sign. Quite clean. Safe."

"For our purpose the location was perfect. The room was large and nicely done. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was the usual fair, adequate. pool was very nice. The best part was that it has a GREAT casual restaurant connected to the hotel, Coopersmith. We have already booked for the end of Oct. Thank you for a great stay. Heather and Jim"

"Such a fun experience for my family. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Because it's Maine in Sept, nights were in the high 40s, which was too cold for our infant. The staff brought us two space heaters for the night to keep us cosy. I plan to stay at another huttopia location in the future."
