"Advertised as smoke free and our room smelled so badly of cigarette smoke that we requested to move rooms. They offered to "spray" air freshener, we declined and after waiting 2 hours, they offered a new room. Hotels.com CS basically said we are out of luck and get a refund, with no back up stay for a family of 5. The weight room had NO weights. They didn't service our room and the crowd was outside of the hotel yelling until 2am, almost nightly. Advertised full kitchen but lacked any proper pots, pans, etc. Stained floors, couches, bedding. We all hit our shin on the oversized bed in the tiny bedroom. No pool towels or beach towels provided. Nice beach and outdoor pool, our beach view was the parking garage, unfortunately. The parking garage is horrible and narrow. "

"Room was not as clean as it should have been. The couch, sofa and throw pillows were soiled. We put sheets over the couches and throw pillows. Also cupboard faces and walls, switchplates had quite a bit of slop spilled on them that wiped off quite easily but should have been wiped down before we got there. Biggest concern was the lack of bathroom facilites at the pool. This almost seems against code...certainly not a healthy situation. Can only assume the dozens of little.kids and the dozens of drunk guy at the pool bar and hot tubs were peeing on the pools rather than taking the 15 or 20 minutes needed to go to the third floor or their room. Absolutely the most inconvenient and potentially most disgusting resort pool set up we have ever stayed in. Will not stay there again despite the otherwise great facility due to the fact that there are no bathrooms at the pool area. Really.... where does the hotel staff people think people are peeing?"

"Some minor issues with hot tub not being hot and fans and AC not working in the room but otherwise the stay was improved by a room upgrade and free breakfast voucher. Room service was ok, if you could reach them to place an order. However the Shrimp cocktail smelled like bad fish. It seemed like they only had one person managing every call and then had to prepare the meal and then had to deliver it. She was working so hard, but this falls on managements failure to properly staff the room service crew. I keep going back for more. "

"The cleaning and maintenance staff is a 10 out of 10!! Each of them greeted us at all times. Coming off the elevator, passing by in the parking lot, while they were cleaning the pool, etc. They made the stay very pleasant along with the property in general. We enjoyed going to the Tiki Bar by the pool, the bar tender is very nice and she recommended great drinks. CONS: 1. I wish they had restrooms closer to the pool so its convenient for the kids. 2. They do need to upgrade the property a little. The bathroom door in my suite didnt lock. Also the sliding doors to the balcony didnt lock so it was easy for my 5yo to open by himself. They could use a little oil as well so they don't make noise when everyone is sleeping. 3. The breakfast area was a little crowded because there isnt much room to walk between the tables and food area. Everyone is trying to move back and forth to get what they need and it can be overwhelming. Just be patient and you'll get it done. Overall we enjoyed our time!"
