We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Farmhouse Inn. The breakfast was delicious, and the owners provided so many recommendations of things and sights to see around the area! Would absolutely stay here again.

This was a beautiful house and the host was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic and included yogurt, granola and fruit followed by a frittata with homemade bread and jam.

This is an excellent location to stay outside of Wolfville near wineries and the Bay of Fundy. The hosts Lynn and Rod are amazing. Excellent breakfast with homemade recipes from Rod's grandmother and local products. We were in the front bedroom of the farmhouse and though on the main road, the traffic was not too loud. Lynn is an excellent resource for restaurants, sites and places to see. Use the map they have created for their guests, it gets you all around the valley. Highly recommend Farmhouse B&B if you want to experience village living in Nova Scotia

The breakfast dining room was unique with the tin ceiling, blocked off fireplace and bare wood board floor. Great breakfast. The Apple Blossom room had one big comfortable chair and another desk type chair. Two comfortable chairs would be nice, but not complaining, I would stay there again.

I really did not know what to expect so it was fantastic to find this charming spot. Our place was fantastic, a private bedroom, lovely living rooms and super bath with a beautiful walk-in tub. Hope we can get back and stay here again!

The Inn was very nice and it even had the creeky floors. The best part was the breakfast, the frittata was delicious with their homemade hot sauce. Will come again, awesome friendly people.

A delightful place to stay for many who travel to Nova Scotia and the Bay of Fundy. The staff was friendly and anxious to please and the interior decorations remind the visitor that indeed, this was once a farmhouse decades ago. If you book this quaint B&B, you may wish to ask for a room in the back. The address is Main Street so road noise in the town of Canning could be an issue. But otherwise, this B&B is a pleasant place to stay.

This place is really a gem, a beautiful historical house, now a B&B in Canning. Great location, to dine, beaches, hiking the cape split. We had an adorable room with a sitting area and a beautiful modern bathroom. Delicious breakfast beautifully presented Lovely couple that work to really make this place very homely. So many lovely touches. Highly recommend this place

Felt at home
Our trip was marred with vehicle troubles. Lynn and Rod were very accommodating in allowing us to store our belongings in their Garage while repairs were performed at local Repair Shop. The room was very quaint and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. I will stay there again if ever back again.

Enjoyed our stay while on course in New Minas. My colleague and I found the room cozy and welcoming. It was cold and raining so we weren’t able to enjoy the outdoors BUT would stay again. The breakfast didn’t work for our schedules but they made some delicious scones for us to take with us. Super yummy. We will return for sure. Thanks!!

Beautiful retreat!
Lynn and Rod are the ultimate hosts! Beautiful home, great breakfast and lots of tips and suggestions for the area. We even got to meet their fur babies and watch the trick or treaters with Lynn. Our stay at the Farm House Inn was spectacular—the accommodations were immaculate, the food was delicious, and the village itself was delightfully quaint and relaxing. But what really set this place above others was how amazing our hosts were—Lynn and Rod. They made us feel at home the minute we walked in, and were kind and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We loved it at the Farmhouse! The owners were wonderful, they were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and the breakfast was amazing. They served us a homemade meal using local food. We will be sure to recommend this B&B and maybe come back someday. Thank you!
