"Wonderful weekend getaway with the pup. The windows are especially a plus with the view of nature outside. It was very cozy and comfortable. I also loved the little bluetooth radio to play calm music while sipping your morning coffee and tea. Highly recommended if you love the outdoors and campfires"

"Nice quiet place, along the road but hardly any traffic. We do a lot of our own cooking so we had everything we needed for our short get away. Even with the 20* weather we enjoyed the hot tub looking out over the night sky. Very relaxing! We were able to bring our dogs along with us so that was nice also. Had a nice time exploring the area, lots to see and everyone was so friendly!"

"I cannot say enough great things about the above and beyond service from this host. Not only was the original cabin perfect, she called us to see if we wanted to switch to a cabin on less of an incline, for the impending snow storm. As if that wasn’t enough, she allowed us to stay an extra day due to that weather. Nothing better than being snowed into a beautiful cabin for an extended weekend. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us and keeping our safety in mind. "

"As someone who has stayed at many short term rentals all over the world, and many cabins in the Hocking area, the Red Hickory cabin stands out. Everthing you could ever need is provided. The little things like labels on lights, abundant blankets, and hooks everywhere are so appreciated as a guest. Add to this the perfectly cozy and well laid out cabin and you have a 10/10. As a bonus, wall decor that doubles as playable board games was so fun! "

"Hot tub was definitely a favorite. It was a nice get away for the weekend. Indoor fireplace was great and they had firewood to buy right inside the home which was convenient. Would stay again and much recommended."
