On arrival in the room there was a thick layer of dust on the large window sills and headboard - we asked someone if they would kindly dust and they did with no hesitation (although no apology) Also the complimentary shower gel in shower didn’t work. There was also a window frame which had come away which let in a big draft. Unfortunately it was a very windy night so was more obvious.

Very Good
I've stayed here a couple of times when working in the area and I really love its location next to the Thames. It is on the Thames path and next Staff are always freindly and welcoming. Evening food was nice and definately above average and the cooked breakfast is really good. Room was clean and well presented, just wished they offered better quality toilet roll in the room, a small gripe I know. Overall really good.

Great spot for the last day of our UK trip before heading home via Heathrow. Good food choice, beautiful beer garden right next to the Thames We will stay again on our next trip.

A lovely old, characterful property set on the banks of the River Thames. Very convenient stop-off for anyone walking the 'Thames Path.' Short drive from Witney and conveniently situated for exploring Oxford city and the Oxfordshire villages and surrounding countryside.

Was quite disappointing to find a tissue on the floor of the room, along with a number of dead spiders on the ceiling. Otherwise the room was comfortable. The food was ok but the service wasn’t great

A lovely stop on the Thames path national trail
A stunning location, a nice restaurant, and very friendly staff. Although I don't think the room itself lives up to its price (I've definitely stayed in nicer for less money) the experience as a whole was a very positive one.

Lovely pub hotel by the Thames. Everything good apart from a towel rail that we couldn't work out how to turn off, making the room overly warm. Would stay again, as long as I could turn it off !

Lovely quiet rural residence situated on the River Thames. Breakfast excellent. Room and customer service very good. Only downside might be that it would not be convenient for assessing central Oxford.

Thames Path Haven 😊
Great location for doing Thames Path and staff friendly on arrival. Room quite small but clean and warm. Guy serving breakfast was a bit dour. With no nearby shops to purchase sandwich to take with us for next bit of our walk the hotel kindly made up a ham salad sandwich for us. Quite pricey at £11.50 for two round but they were tasty. Dinner was served beautifully hot and we enjoyed the open fire. Thanks.

We arrived before 2.00pm and were told rooms not available til 2.00pm which was fine but no follow up with us or even an invitation to take some water. Had to ask about room after 2.00pm and eventually shown to room.

Disappointment with breakfast service.
Welcoming was good. Room acceptable but shower very narrow space. Breakfast service was very slow. It took more than have an hour to be serve and then really disappointment with the omellete being burnt. They replaced with a standard English breakfast.
