"We spent one night here and enjoyed a comfortable stay. The room (blue wing double) was reasonably sized but with little room to move easily around the large bed to reach the bathroom. Bathroom fittings were tired but clean. Breakfast was excellent with an impressive number of healthy choices. This vast hotel is very close to Runnymede, so only a short walk from the Magna Carta centre and JFK memorial."

"The cleanest place ive ever stayed in. Convenient location and very good breakfast. The gentleman on reception was excellent. My room was stylish, bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom modern and beautiful. Although I had to wait half an hour for my room there was fresh lemon water and a nice area to sit and relax. My only disappointment was not being in the main hotel, as a single traveller I didn't feel altogether comfortable being taken to a separate building to find my room. I felt a bit isolated once in my room and was sad that the view from my window was just the opposite wall which compounded my feelings of being cut off. There was also a strange step down and immediate step up as you entered the building I was staying in, this needs filling in as such a nuisance, nearly tripped on way in."

"This was a last minute booking due to an error I made. The room was lovely and clean. It was nicely appointed and modern. I went out for dinner but I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg for breakfast and it was nicely presented and well cooked. The only thing stopping me giving it 5/5 overall was minor noise overnight. There was a fan in the bathroom that I couldn’t seem to control (not the switch controlled extractor which went off after a short time) and because the rooms are quite close and the doors are heavy there was some noise at times but it’s a pub with rooms rather than a hotel so it’s probably to be expected. Overall it was ideal for a night and I’d still return again as the overall stay outweighed the minor noise issue."
