Family holiday
Loved our stay at Clavelly. The bungalow is spacious and very well equipped. The kitchen is very well equipped; sharp knives, tin opener, pizza cutter, pots & pans, measuring jugs, colanders etc. everything you need is there. The gardens are beautiful, both front and back. Lots of apples on the trees. We were fortunate with the weather so we’re able to make use of the outside daily going into evening time. We were able to make use of the bbq. Richard was very quick to respond to any questions. From a personal point of view and the excellent weather a parasol would have been nice for when we were sitting outside, especially when eating. Also an outside washing line. There are plenty of books at the bungalow and also various games. We would be happy to return here again Thank you Richard

Great place to visit Lake District
The house was well located for visiting the Lake District. The landscaping was incredibly beautiful and perfect for resting. The house was also very comfortable for our family of 7.

Best location with the best garden
This place is beautiful. The house was immaculate and spacious. The beds are comfy and the linens are soft and cozy. This is the best location to explore the Lakes district there is a bus stop for the hop on/off bus at the end of the street and you can walk to all the best restaurants and a market. It would have been nice to have a few extra blankets but they’ve probably been removed for CoVid. The fridge and freezer are tiny so don’t do a big shop before you come.

Excellent location
Just spent 3 nights at this delightful well equipped cottage style bungalow with the most amazing garden and outdoor area close to lake Windermere. Perfect location for exploring the Lake District.
