We, welcome you to our home Holly-Wood Guest House, with its warm friendly welcome, comfortable relaxed atmosphere & accommodation for your trip to the beautiful Lake District. We are in a quiet residential road just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of the village in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Just down the hill is Bowness-on-Windermere & its many shops, cafes & restaurants, you could enjoy a trip up, down or round the lake from Bowness Pier. We have numerous leaflets on activities, attractions & walks which we can recommend in & around the Lake District. We can arrange half or full day tours of the Lake District with Local knowledgeable companies.Why not come & spend a few days with us in a most picturesque part of the Country & enjoy romantic walks, a picnic, all with the magnificent back drop of the Lake District, or perhaps climb one of the many hills & mountains if you fancy a challenge. Whatever you would like to do we look forward to welcoming you to our home to relax.

Perfect stay

This little place is an absolute gem. We’ve stayed in Windermere a few times and this is my favourite now. Lovely friendly owners, lovely room, private car park and a delicious breakfast.

A lovely warm welcome by owner Ian and very helpful with his knowledge of the local area.Its an Ideal location when you're visiting the lakes, right in the heart of Windermere
