But the nicest thing was its proximity to the water. The creek/river was just past the backyard & isolated enough so it was just us. Roomy, well stocked kitchen and good places to be together as a family. The bunk room was great for the kids. The outdoor space was fantastic. Fire pit, grill, big front and back deck. The river access was also great. There was plenty of water in the Blanco to cool off. It was maybe 3 foot deep right by the river stairs. There were also some cool rock formations to explore close by, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. ##### L-town S. The house is well stocked and appointed which allowed for comfort and ease as we cooked all meals in house. We swam in the river and ran around the yard and enjoyed stargazing at night around the fire pit. We would gladly book again and appreciate the hosts opening up their home. The beds are comfortable, house and porches are clean, good air flow, quiet surroundings and a perfect riverside retreat. ##### Kate W.
