"Our stay at the Wimberley Inn was such a treat! The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with a peaceful, tucked-away feel. The pool is especially lovely—nestled among the trees, it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed the cozy little bar, where the service was friendly and welcoming. The self-check-in process was seamless, and we appreciated how the hosts stayed in touch via text to make sure everything was going smoothly. The location is another highlight—it’s just a short walk to downtown, which made exploring easy (though a few sidewalks along the way would make it even better). Our room was thoughtfully decorated, with very comfortable bedding and pillows—always a win! Plus, there are so many inviting outdoor spaces around the property to sit, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which could definitely use some improvement. Otherwise, everything about our stay was wonderful. We would absolutely recommend the Wimberley Inn and would happily stay again!"

"I stayed here for a week with my sister and my father to visit friends in Wimberley. The patio outdoors and the hot tub are great - lots of beautiful space to sit outside and enjoy. The house is clean and spacious. Indoors, the bedrooms are all in a single space with a shared ceiling area - so they're not sound isolated if that's a concern for people. The bathroom is in between the two bedrooms - for privacy we used the door from the main bedroom (king bed) to the porch to avoid waking up our dad. We figured this would be important for people with different sleep schedules to be aware of. Also important - while the outside is very nice and fairly private, the property is right on RM 12, so the road noise is noticeable - we used a white noise machine at night to make sleeping easier.In summary, this was a nice place to stay to visit friends, make meals, and have a great time in the Texas Hill Country."

"The property was listed as at a winery with tasting available. Not the case. It’s the upstairs room of someone’s condo in Wimberley. The owner was nice but it wasn’t the experience I thought I’d booked from the description."

"Would absolutely stay here again. But, I want you to know reality. This was not what we expected, but it turned out fine. This is not a resort hotel. It's a glamping VRBO. There's no staff on site, other than maintenance. The property is well maintained and clean. There's a nice pool (unheated) with a bar. Don't be fooled by the pictures...there is no bartender, and they don't serve drinks. But, bring your own! There's a refrigerator and towels available. There is pickle ball and bocce ball. It's a small but pretty property. There are 1 & 2 bedroom cabins that are clean, as well as tents (they look really cool). No fire pits, but guessing they were removed because of the burn ban. They have weddings/events there, so there is a possibility that parts of the property will be unavailable during the stay. This happened to us, but we managed. Cool joint, just know what to expect.
