Wellness Hôtel Wiltz

Average rooms with private bath, but clean and comfortable. Safe and very quiet location. Breakfast is typical Euro meal: bread, coffee, huice, cereal and lunch meat/cheeses. Wifi is slow but usable.

While this was a bargain -- and I don't blame hotels.com -- I paid more than I would have, had I booked directly. This is mainly linked to me misunderstanding that breakfast was included. Still. Their prices are metropolitan prices in a tiny town -- the hotel was not booked out at all. So it is not demand dictating these prices. The breakfast is for sure not worth 13 Euro (I pay less for lunch in a worldly city !!!). The service is non existent. The location is lovely but that is not worth it. The rooms are okay, but the pillows lumpy & the mattress has seen better days a long time ago. A tip to the owner, manager and staff: being friendly is cost free, takes as much effort as being unfriendly (if not less), try it some time.

After a slight hiccup at check in that was resolved, we had a pleasant stay. We stayed here so we could participate in the Bastogne Memorial Hike. Because of this, we did not get a chance to enjoy the restaurant onsite or any of the facilities. The room was very clean and comfortable. Only downside was neighbors were a little loud.
