It is a quiet hotel. It is looking to refurbish soon which is needed. The hotel is keep nice and clean but now you need to request a room clean rather than being done automatically.

The staff are great, but hotel is need of some tender loving care. Dining options are not great. Breakfast is good, but evening meals are not cheap for a basic pub menu.

The staff are great as always. But the property needs so.e money spent on it. There are leaks and signs of wter damage all over the property.

Always a handy place for us to stay when visiting family. Staff always friendly. Room was a little dated and we found the heater not adequate, but generally comfortable and clean. Negative would be people who seem to gather in the car park late at night, talking loud and loitering (security gates would be better rather than an open drive entrance especially late at night)

The staff are great make you feel welcome. The condition of the property requires attention. The room had signs of water damage. And there was buckets in the hall. The showers can drop pressure in a second and are hard to adjust as not thermostatically adjusted. Meaning it would be easier to burn yourself. The hotel feels like it is being left to die and the staff keep it alive.

The property was leaking water over the reception one night when i walked in. The staff made sure we where all safe. There was a burst pipe in one of the bathrooms. The staff are fantastic but this shows management at a higher level are not prioritising mantaince. The new manager is trying to get on top of things and spent time with me, to arrange that my stay was as good as they can arrange at the moment and that he is prioritising repairs and a better menu. As a long time guest, the menu doesn't offer a balanced diet and so im now having to eat elsewhere to cover that. The only properly arranged meal being the breakfast at the moment.

Stay was ok but we booked on arrival to have Dinner at 5.30pm, went down for dinner only to be told 30mins later that they had a party coming in and dinner would be delayed, half hour later we were told they was no dinner available due to the big party, we were given free breakfast the next morning, only to find the restaurant floor had not been washed proper and was very slippery when informing the reception and asking to speak with the Duty Manager we were told there was no manager on duty, there were no signs warning anyone of the hazard ⚠️, other than this the staff were very polite and helpful we would stay again

Most of the staff appear to have a dont care attitude. It appeared that i was inconveniencing the waitress. Her body language was awful. A couple of staff were ok. New menu is awful now. Hardly any choice. You just get a bit of meat or pie and a few chips. No vegetables or anything else. Portions are small. Menu is way below what you would expect in a poor pub. No wonder the place was almost empty.

Changed room 3 times because the tvs weren’t working the corridor stank of cannabis which was reported but nothing done .rooms are basic the only half decent thing was the breakfast

Turned up and check in was fine and lady was helpful. Went to our allocated room and room (twin) was tiny with beds right next to each other with no personal space, might as well have booked a Double. But the most worrying thing was our room had connecting doors to next door (foreigners) and we could easily access their room and they could easily access our room and also they were very noisy! Went to complain at reception only for them to question this, in the end she came and had a look for herself and was a bit surprised. But she told us that no other room was available. We were popping out for food that evening and were worried all night what we'd return to and if someone had been in our room whilst out, thankfully they hadn't. Hotel could be very noisy during the night and you can hear everything from rooms next door. Also our window wasn't soundproof at all and could hear very clearly any noises from outside. Couldn't wait to leave in the morning and will definitely not return to this hotel. Would NOT recommended to anyone and the pictures are very deceiving. Oh yeah another thing there was no food available in the evening, no idea why!!

Restaurant was closed and nothing was said about this when booking our rooms one of the reasons we booked this hotel and the bar disnt open till 5.30 and breakfat no bacon , no mushrooms hash browns were soggy when we mentioned this to the waitress to see if she could refill the missing items she went to the kitchen but nothing was refilled
