Pat yourselves on the back! I arrived in Wilmington at 4 pm. It took me over 30 minutes to locate the hotel. No signs, gps gave poor directions. I had a 5 pm commitment.
My check in went smooth, once the people in front moved on. Both had used Booking and were charged more than Booking quoted them. Then we all were told that there was a $13 parking fee. None of us knew this ahead of time. Very small parking area.
Staff at the front desk had to keep getting managers to deal with them problems. Made me miss my event that cost me $75. I finally got to my room, dumped my stuff and changed. When I asked for directions to the venue, no one could tell me much. I finally arrived at the venue after it ended.
My room was warm until I changed the AC. It was ok, beautiful view , no microwave in the room, only a fridg. But I slept well.
Breakfast was wonderful, the lady is charge was very friendly and helpful to everyone! The food was excellent! When I returned to my room, I was locked out, 1 hour before check out. Their system hadn't been updated for DST.
I'd rate the hotel a 10, but the front s desk staff needs more training. Their policies need to be revised! That part I'd rate a 5.
