Living in Berlin City Stay Hostel is really a great experience. The owner Mr.Zeitler is quite understanding and the facilities are same as stated and to be true better than expected.The washrooms are maintained well and the facility is very nicely lit.And most importantly there are large windows allowing lots of sunlight inside. OVERALL my stay here is perfect.I highly recommend this property to other people.Also do visit there own webpage Berlin City Stay!!!

Der Kontakt war prompt und freundlich, Bezahlungsmodus wenig transparent (ohne vorherige Ankündigung stand jemand vor der Zimmertür, der das Geld in bar abholen wollte, konnte sich weder auf deutsch noch auf englisch mit uns verständigen, konnte aber zeitnah mit Vermieter geklärt werden). Haustürklingel oder Etagenklingel mehrfach der Nacht, laut auf dem Flur, Erbrochenes am nächsten Morgen am und im WC, Küche nach Gelage verwüstet, Dusche nur mit Badelatschen... wohl eher für studentische Nachtschwärmer als für Familien mit kleinen Kindern geeignet .

ACHTUNG ! Bloß nicht buchen !
Achtung ! Dieses Angebot ist nahe am Betrug ! "Berlin City Stay" ist kein Hotel (keine Rezeption, Bezahlung nur gegen bar an das Zimmermädchen), sondern 2 verknüpfte Etagenwohnungen ohne Kontakt zu den Besitzern. "Offenes Bad" bedeutet Gemeinschaftsbad, also ca. 10 Zimmer teilen sich 2 Etagenbäder und Toilette ! Das haben wir bei diesem Preis nicht erwartet.... Sauberkeit läßt auch zu Wünschen übrig. Nachdem ich den "Vermieter" auf die Missstände hingewiesen habe und früher abreisen wollte, ist er unfreundlich geworden und hat auf die Stornobedingungen (voller Preis ohne Rückerstattung) verwiesen, obwohl alle anderen Zimmer leer waren. In 20 Jahren Reisetätigkeit die mit Abstand schlechteste Wahl !

Nice hotel - which is actually more like an appartment you share with others, and where you can rent a room. It was a beautiful place, clean and with everything you might need. I liked the fact that you could buy your food and cook whatever you want. The only downside is that the rooms weren't very soundproof. But except for that, nice place and also well situated.
