"This was a nice hotel and I had a good stay. The exterior could have been cleaner (some trash in the parking lot not picked up) and the interior might need a refresh. But the staff were very pleasant and professional and the bed was super-comfy. The breakfast was OK but since it was included in a very reasonable room rate, there's really nothing to complain about there. The hotel is on the east side of Houston but only 20 minutes on Commerce Street from downtown. It's not located near anything of note except Frost Bank Arena (and an HEB if you need snacks or something) and beware that traffic in San Antonio these days is a nightmare, especially if you're unfamiliar with SA."
