"We came for 4 days to go to Download festival and it was perfect. The staff are all lovely.. especially Emma! Always helpful, even leaving out cardboard for our extremely muddy boots. The walk along the canal is beautiful too. Highly recommend this place."

"First impressions of the hotel are very good, with its impressive site and it being part of the well-known country club. For the age of the building, the place is in remarkable condition. The hotel rooms are in great condition and all look surprisingly new. Wonderful views are available from the top floor and walks through the grounds and gardens on the ground floor. Food is excellent and very attentive, professional and courteous staff throughout the hotel. Ultimately, high marks and definitely a recommendation for the future."
