You pay for the view & the room
The room and the view were gorgeous, and overall it is still a fairly new place. The public areas a pretty basic and the breakfast buffet was a bit of letdown considering the price, very basic.

Great breakfast and hotel.
Lovely new hotel. Very clean and very kind helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast! Lots of free parking. About 30 mins walk or 10 mins on a bike to the city centre.

Perfect accommodation for business travel, generous size room with all the essential amenities and a perfect breakfast included in the room rate. Unfortunately the fitness suite was closed due to covid restrictions, but the sauna, which overlooks the riverside, was available and was exceptionally good value and most highly recommended. The surrounding fish market area has plenty of good seafood bars and restaurants. I would definitely book this hotel again if staying in Bremerhaven.

A comfortable stay. The COVID protections were very good especially in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was a high standard.

Very quiet area right on the waterway.
Right on the water! Very nice area ! You have AC but does not work well enough. Had to open window the European way but rain caused us to shut. Staff was very attentive & excellent hot buffet included in the price with local favorites.

When you are in Germany.
This hotel was great, we got in very late, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. The only littlle thing was the TV was 99 percent in German. But that is to be expected when you are in Germany.

We come once a year to visit with my wife's 95 year old dad and always stayed in a lovely BandB. The owners sold it so we stayed in the Best Western for the first time. We'll be back next year!

Wonderful reliable hotel!
I had to send my daughters luggage ahead to her hotel as well as important documents for a 3 month semester at sea journey out of Germany. I was worried about safety of the bag but it was signed for and kept safe and delivered to my daughter in her arrival. So grateful they took care of her and her luggage.

Great experience. Windows open all the way...love the salty air of a port city. Room is very modern and updated. Breakfast area was large, clean, and the food was amazing to start the day. Bar area was a little small, but it served very delicious Becks.

Nice, clean, modern hotel. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance and a good amount of free parking spots at the hotel. The hotel staff is friendly and multilingual. The front desk is open 24/7 and your check-in is good until 2330. The beds are typical European style. If you have to have a sheet under your duvet, bring your own. There is free unlimited wifi that is fast enough to watch shows online and video chat. There is a sauna available for a small additional charge as well as a couple of cardio machines. The front desk runs the bar so you can access it whenever you like. There is no room service or lunch/dinner available at the hotel. Breakfast, however, is amazing. It's included with your stay. It's American and European buffet style breakfast with a wide variety of foods and beverages in a nice restaurant. The shower is also very nice. Don't forget your adapters for non-euro devices!

Excellent hotel in Bremerhaven
We needed a hotel to spend a night as we were picking up our car that was shipped to Bremerhaven harbor and we we chose the Best Western. We were not disappointed at all - the staff was very friendly, the rooms clean and modern and the breakfast buffet (included in our rate) was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anybody needing a place to stay in Bremerhaven.

Worth Every Penny
This hotel is fantastic for the price. The staff speaks English and the rooms are pretty great. If you want the sauna/gym access you have to pay a little extra (€7 per person). The gym consists of 2 ellipticals, 1 stationary bike, and a bowflex type piece of equipment. It's in walking distance to several food places and a little shopping area. There's also a Sixt rental place literally right next door. If you're picking up a car from the seaport it's about a €15 cab ride from the hotel, and they'll call a cab for you. There's a bar on the main floor with very reasonable prices. The free breakfast is amazing. It's a full breakfast buffet style in the restaurant on the 1st floor. I would also like to recommend the Natusch restaurant. You get a free aperitif with the flyer from the hotel. It was delicious with great service (in English). Everyone was very friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong staying here!

best Best Western
Certainly the best Best Western I have stayed at. Nice design and clean. Right by the river, so if you reserve a river view room, you get a nice view. The restaurant also overlooks the river and it's a great way to start with breakfast. Just a few steps walk to a string of nice restaurants for lunch and dinner.
