"The home was exactly as pictured. Plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 teens and 2 dogs, with beds to spare. It was clean and organized, complete with the essentials. Linens, dishes, towels, etc. The host was fantastic and, came by twice to pickup the trash. The view of the falls was amazing and, we climbed them everyday. Venturing in a couple times. We had so much fun playing games and making smores at the fire pit and just chatting. With such hectic lives this was the perfect private location to unwind and catch up with each other. We would all highly recommend it. We didn't want to leave."

"Everything was great except for the fact it’s says restaurant. I assumed there was a restaurant on site because it’s says restaurant in booking . No restaurant but the breakfast was good. The views were amazing and they accommodated us to a first floor ."

"This historic hotel should compare to resorts such as the Greenbrier, the Homestead, the Broadmoor in customer service. My only complaint in that regard was the lack of staff upon initial arrival at the front door. I am used to never being allowed to touch my luggage until a porter has delivered it to my room. I'm used to not having to open my own car door when I arrive. I'm used to a doorman when I enter the lobby. None of that happened here and I think it should. That being said, I loved the hotel and I'm sure we'll stay again. I loved the history, including the haunted history. I loved cocktails on the sweeping veranda overlooking Mount Washington. Our room was small by today's standards but superb in every other way. The complimentary shuttle service to "off campus" resort properties and amenities was great. I believe this hotel will be on my calendar next summer!"

"We visited this lake house on a warm week in August and spent most of the day kayaking, fishing, swimming, and exploring. We loved the views and the amenities and cooked almost every meal on their black stone grill on the deck to an amazing view! The cabin was well stocked which made buying groceries and cooking meals rather than driving 25 minutes to a restaurant the preferred choice!"

"The view from the house back deck is breathtaking, but prepared to hike up a Skislope to get back to the house from the lake, but other than that, it was perfect. The privacy was amazing. The peace of this land was unheard of to me if you’re looking for a peaceful tranquil vacation to get away from the stresses this is the perfect place and if you have pets they’re gonna love this place."

"Fabulous little gem!! So clean and the view is beautiful, it’s not big but has everything you need for a relaxing white mountain vacation. I loved the wildflowers growing around the house and the screened porch was the best to watch the sunsets. Comfortable beds and quality linens. Ben was very communicative and a wonderful host. We would stay here again!"
