And to top it off, Trollhaugen ski slopes we're just a few minutes away with easy access.The cabin itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, from the cozy furnishings to the fully stocked kitchen that made meals easy and enjoyable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living space was warm and inviting—perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors.What really set this place apart was the atmosphere. "Stayed here due to numerous 5-Star ratings but now believe they were all false. I’ve never paid $65 a night to squat somewhere but now I can mark that off the bucket list. Hotel felt very much like a half-way house and there’s nothing intrinsically wrong with that but would have liked to know before hand. Someone was heavily smoking on the second floor despite being a no-smoking property stinking up the place. Shower didn’t drain well and there were fist-sized holes in the bathroom wall and door. Very dated property. Pillows were plentiful though "

"Sidewalks weren’t maintained during our visit…VERY ICY!The one bedroom at the top of the stairs on the left with the has a broken bed. One of the guests did not sleep well either night. When he sat down on the bed the other side of the mattress went up in the air and the bed frame was broken. The bedroom we stayed in appeared to have used sheets…very wrinkled and wasn’t made up very well giving it the appearance of dirty sheets. The floors throughout the house weren’t the cleanest, especially the kitchen. The one corner of the bedroom we were in had spider webs and dead bugs. The front entryway had dead Asian beetles on the floors. "
