"Spent almost a week here visiting family and taking in the gorgeous fall leaves. Loved the house! It's older but renovated to be comfortable but still kept the character and details of older homes including built-ins. Very kid and family friendly, we're an extended family with 3 family units including 3 kids under 7. Rooms are spread out so we all had our own space. The kitchen was large with lots of room for multiple people to prep with lots of pots/pans/dishes/etc. 3 dining areas. Fabulous laundry room! Huge yard with several seating areas plus a basketball hoop and ball included. Beds all comfortable. Was a great location for our trips to Weirs Beach, Meredith, Loon Mtn, Franconia, Mt Washington, North Conway, and York Beach, Maine. Highly recommend."

"The Ballard House Inn is a 7 bedroom bed and breakfast inn in Meredith that my husband and I stayed at over this past weekend. We truly enjoyed our stay there, would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it. The inn itself is absolutely charming, very well kept, clean and tastefully furnished and decorated. There is a fairly large dining room where complementary breakfast is served as well as two additional rooms to relax in. Throughout the inn snacks are left for the guests as well as complementary water, soda, coffee, beer and wine. The bedroom we had was good sized, the bed was very comfortable and the fireplace was a really nice touch. Bedrooms are on the second and third floors. The bathroom was also a good size and had everything we needed. The owner was wonderful, ensuring that we had everything we needed. They go above and beyond for their guests. It was such a positive experience and far superior to a hotel room. The location was convenient and easy to find. 5 stars isn’t enough to convey how highly we recommend the Ballard House Inn! Mary and Jack"
