Fortunately there are many hotels in County Wicklow that offer this. This means that your kids can watch movies on their tablets, your work emails can always be on hand, you will have access to online maps to plan your hikes along the Wicklow Way and you can search out the best dining options that the surrounding area has to offer. More importantly you can do all this from the comfort of your hotel room.
County Wicklow may be just a half hour's drive from Dublin and its international airport yet it feels a million miles away from the bustle of the big city. Here you can live life at a more relaxed pace. There are stunning beaches to explore, clifftop views to admire, stately homes to visit, rivers to relax by and delightful scenery to amble through.
Yet getting away from it all does not have to mean doing without the things we have come to rely on. The majority of the hotels that you’ll find in this beautiful area of Ireland can provide wireless internet access to their guests 24 hours a day, with excellent standards of connectivity.
This means there is no need to clock up roaming data charges when you are out roaming in Wicklow. The cost of using the web can still be significant, especially if a phone has a foreign sim card. Being able to access WiFi through your hotel means there is no high cost involved for your web browsing on-site, so you can discover all there is to do in Wicklow without paying excessively for the privilege.
Walkers looking to plan their routes through the forests, mountains and unspoilt countryside will appreciate being able to easily access the wide range of maps and guides that are freely available online. Families can search for activities to keep the children happy or to make the designated driver's job that much easier by planning routes in advance.
