BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS, LOVELY STAFF, GREAT BREAKFAST AND CONFORTABLE ROOM. HOUSEKEEPING COULD BE BETER AS EVERYTHING NEEDED DUSTING. BUT NOT WORTH COMPLAINING ABOUT AS DUST IS ONLY DUST. OVERALL A LOVELY HOTEL FULL OF HISTORY.
The reception staff were excellent and helped us pay our Toll fees online (a first for these international travelers!) The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise with excellent food and elegant surroundings. I Highly recommend it!! Wished we could have stayed longer.
The bedrooms are rather tired but are perfectly comfortable and clean. All other aspects of the hotel are good, the food was excellent and service was prompt by staff that were invariably charming and efficient. I will use this hotel again.
My wife and I stayed at Powerscourt Hotel as an anniversary treat. The Spa facility was excellent with really professional staff. Sika restaurant was nice for dinner with a decent choice on the set menu. Great choice also for the breakfast in Sika restaurant.
At just a short drive from the bustle and business district of Dublin, yet feeling a million miles away in its more laid back charms and natural beauty, County Wicklow offers a very attractive option for booking a hotel for a conference, team building weekend or a sales and marketing planning session.
For a start there are plenty of hotels that are large enough to host your staff and provide you with all the facilities you may require. These include conference rooms, whiteboards, WiFi access, lounge areas for breakout sessions and, of course, spacious bars, spas and even golf courses where the real work always seems to get done!
Creative thinking requires space and this is something the hotels in County Wicklow are certainly not short of. Your conference hotel will have plenty of gorgeous blue sky views for your blue sky thinking and can also offer you the choice of gorgeous coastal views, mountain vistas or the lush green expanses and wooded valleys of the sublime Vale of Avoca.
If you are looking for team building exercises in the great outdoors your conference hotel can help you to arrange a hike into the mountains, mountain biking through the forests, abseiling down cliffs, orienteering challenges or many other opportunities to test your team’s wits and nerves. The hotels are all close to a number of top class golf courses for relaxation or the discussion of those finer points.
For your next conference you can choose a hotel that is less than half an hour's drive from Dublin but set amidst natural splendour and in tranquil surroundings that promises to make for a conference that perfectly mixes business with pleasure.
Conference hotels in County Wicklow can be found near the perfect coastal views offered by Bray and Brittas Bay Beach, they can be further inland close to the dramatic views of the rugged mountains or you can choose a hotel located near the picture postcard prettiness of the Vale of Avoca.
Why not get away from it all for your next team meeting? It's closer than you think and could be more productive than you can imagine.
