Nice hotel but really difficult to find

Pros: Nice, clean, room. The breakfast was good.
Cons: It will be a really nice hotel once the construction is done.
Room was really nice. But was really difficult to figure out how to get to the hotel due to road construction. The hotel is also under construction. There was all sorts of construction materials in the hallway and the room did not have a number sign on it. The hotel also did not have a sign not he outside.

We only stayed for about 4 hours before our early morning flight. It is under construction right now, but otherwise the room was clean, quiet and easy access to the freeway.

Under construction

The hotel is getting an internal facelift. You can see work being done in the hallways and on the drive-in roof, but the rooms are clean, the night is quiet and the bed is comfortable. Right now the exit ramp off Kellogg is closed for construction, so getting to the hotel is less convenient. Must be tough for business.

Wichita March trip

Pros: Nice breakfast and nice rooms.
Cons: get construction done.
Location: Very close to motel and major freeways.
Good motel, but no signage due to construction and hard to get to due to road construction.

The motel was in the middle of updating. What they had already updated was very nice.

Nice,clean hotel

Although there was construction on the front of the hotel and the highway, once we got inside we were very impressed. They are remodeling the hallways but the front area and the bedrooms were both very very nice. Our beds were so comfortable we both commented we wish we had the bed and pillows at home. The staff at the front desk were incredibly professional. Both the young man and the nice lady did an outstanding job.

Great hotel, Great price

Pros: The room decor was pleasing and it was clean.
Cons: The breakfast bar was minimal. The pancakes were not very good.
Clean, large room. Lobby was spacious with many nooks for sitting and visiting. Hotel was under construction, but it was not noisy or intrusive. Rates right now are extremely reasonable, as the hotel changes from a Hampton to a Best Western. I plan to stay here again.

Good for the price.

This hotel used to be a Hampton Inn so it is set up like that. It appeared to be under renovation. The area around the hotel looks a little run down but it is close to everything. I would recommend if you are looking for a decently priced stay.

Location Issues and Under Renovation

Pros: Clean room
Cons: The breakfast could use some major work.
Location: Location is horrible, as highway access is required. Construction also occurring at intersection off highway.
If you book this hotel, be aware that it's entrance is located on an off-ramp from the highway. So, the one-way access requires you to circle around to get on the highway and come in from the east. Or to go through residential areas to the north and come through a cul-de-sac and adjacent parking lot. Definitely not user-friendly, especially as anyone staying here is from out of town and typically not familiar with the area/roadways. Check-in was quick and the staff was adequately friendly at this time. The hotel is under renovation, so nothing was on the walls, wallpaper was peeling everywhere, and the carpets are definitely in need of replacement. We stayed on the third floor. There are two elevators to service four floors, and both are slow. The room was clean, and the bed comfy. The a/c unit worked well to cool the room. A decent size fridge was there, but not very cold. No book to tell us what is available in the area for eating, etc. We were in town for our son's music performance, so cared little about amenities. However, they have an outdoor pool and small workout room. When we would enter and exit, the night staff didn't even greet us. The hotels offers complimentary breakfast. Stick with the waffles or biscuits and gravy. They were edible. The eggs are these perfectly round hockey pucks that are yellow, but have the texture of foam and no flavor. Coffee is decent. Basically, don't expect much for breakfast. We have booked elsewhere for our next trip.
