OK hotel price too high for quality

Posted 05-Jun-2017
The hotel was just OK. The hallways and rooms had a very musky odor. The pool was out of order. Breakfast was included but it was not good. Though the ladies working the kitchen were friendly.

Wichita stopover

Posted 25-May-2017
Pros: Location, staff.
Cons: See above.
Location: Close to downtown, airport and Beech field.
The overall experience was reasonable. Price was good. Room was large with good facilities. Hotel has been updated but many of the facilities were not changed (crack sink, marks on carpet, bathroom wallpaper peeling). On the positive side the bed was reasonably comfortable, room quiet, Kureg coffee make, full size fridge/freezer and REAL crocks and cutlery in room.

Not as pleasant as it used to be.

Posted 14-Apr-2017
Pros: The breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: Staff needs to be friendlier. Treat all travelers the same.
This was my fourth time of staying at the suites in the last two years. The first two times the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The third time the staff was not as friendly and the room was noisy. This time, staff did not speak unless I asked a specific question (other than one staff at the desk, Rena, she always greeted me). When I checked in, the person in front of me checking in was given free drink tokens, I was offered none because I reserved through Expedia instead of them directly. (I was always offered them in the past). The mattress on the bed I had had dips in it and needed replaced. The toilet seat had many stains on it.

girls night away

If you are looking for amenities for a low price then this might be your place. Summer time the Wichita Suites has an outdoor pool. There are DVD players in each room and movies you can check out from the front desk. Wifi works well. There was a fridge and a microwave. There was no silverware or cups if you want to heat up any food. I brought my own from home. It was comfortable and clean, but very dated furnishings if that is important to you. Breakfast was eggs, oatmeal, toast, dry cereal, coffee, milk, juice, hashbrowns, and breakfast sausage links. It was adequate, but not delicious. Budget night out!!
