Nice but not completely handicap accessable

Posted 04-Sep-2016
Pros: Loved the roll in shower and ability to get under the sink with a wheelchair.
Cons: They need to have handicap toilets in the handicap rooms. Lack of them is totally unacceptable. The breakfast was disappointing also.
Location: It is right across the street from Wesley Hospital. Very convenient.
Speedy check in. When asked if any of the handicap rooms have handicap toilets was told they were all the same. Later was told the hotel was 12 years old. No excuse since the ADA was passed in 1990. Shower and sink access was great but a toilet is a pretty basic item. They measured just 15 1/2 inches from floor to top of seat not the required 17 to 19 inches. That may seem like a small thing but it makes a huge difference. Especially for tall people. Luckily I had brought a toilet chair with us!

OK to stay

Posted 10-Aug-2016
Pros: Bed is comfortable
Cons: Front desk employee's uniform is very old, possibly dirty. Front desk this the first impression, they should have the best uniform.
Room is OK, bed is comfortable. Hallway carpet is very dirty, need to replace. Carpet in the room is OK.

Close to Wesley Med. Center.

Posted 01-Aug-2016
Pros: Location
Location: We were there only one night so we checked in and that was it.
My daughter had to have surgery and the location of the hotel was very important to us.

A bargain for the $$

Posted 23-Jul-2016
A very nice hotel for the money. Not the newest, furnishings were rather dated, but very well maintained. The room did have a strong smell of what I took to be bug spray, which I will take over actual bugs ant time. I didn't see any bugs at all, must be working. I will say, as someone who stays in hotels most of the week, this was the most comfortable bed I've ever had in any hotel ever. I would happily stay here again.

Clean Hotel, Convenient Location

Posted 18-Jul-2016
We were pleasantly surprised with the Wesley Inn. It was much nicer and cleaner than we expected for the price. It was also in a convenient location.

Not impressed

Posted 13-Jul-2016
We ended up bringing our son's little dog with us, so had to switch to a pet room. The room was not that clean; we found a tick in the bed and the chair was beat up and smelly. The accommodations were just ok - just two thin towels, pretty bare bones accommodation.

Will not come back.

Hallway smelled like urine. Pillows stunk, smelled like it was used and not changed. Lobby looked and felt depressing.
