Location: Handy, close to shopping and restaurants, right off the Interstate.
We were quite pleased with this newly renovated facility. Contrary to the negative reviews I read, this place must receive high scores from us, mainly because everything was squeaky-clean. Also earning praise is the indoor pool surrounded by a nicely planted area-not those old, past their prime plants that management of other places seem so attached to. Even the breakfast room on the sixth floor - at first thought an unusual spin - was both spacious and completely stocked with the predictable hot and cold items. Having a sixth story view of the trees and surrounding area made our window table all the more enjoyable. Yes, we would recommend this La Quinta to our friends. Handy location, walking distance to good restaurants, and a friendly and accommodating staff all make this a "come back." And, NO, I am real consumer not being compensated by them.

weekend in Wichita

Pros: convenience and price
Cons: smell of room was offensive. smelled like an old smokers room
Location: great location. Shopping and great food, church.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was ok. Wrinkles in the curtains. The room smelled of old smokers room. Our basic needs were met. It served its purpose. We are thankful. The staff was very accommodating.

Not a Great location, Ok acomodations

Pros: Price was ok.
Cons: Location is everything. Bad location is not good. rooms can be updated majorly.
Location: Town East mall is right by
Checking in was ok. When we got to the room, The King bed was broke down, needed to be replaced. Hotel is not in a great part of town, would stay somewhere else next time we visit

Mark - I'm sorry you observed what to you seemed to be a bad neighborhood. It is unsure to me what exactly caused this kind of review but I'm confident in saying it was an occasion of rarity. We have no concerns for the guests and the safety of them or their belongings. We have 16 video camera's on our property and during the years I have been here, no real concerns of safety at all. As for updating, that is at the top of our list to do and we are working on that little by little as we are able to. I hope in the future you will return to us so that we can give you a better impression upon your departure. Thanks for your time!

Was in town for business!!

The room was great!! Coffee, tea, and ice water available all day....Breakfast was fantastic! Close to the highway and close to our venue!! Loved it!!

The lobby has been updated nicely so we were surprised to go upstairs and see all that was NOT updated. The ceiling tiles in the hallway were orange and sagging, the bathroom was dirty and the bed was rock hard. Good price for somewhere to sleep, but I'll pay more somewhere else next time to not feel dirty.

Rude Night Manager

The night manager or whatever he is was very very rude to the guests staying at the hotel as well as to the guests boss that made the reservation. Will never stay at another LaQuinta again - ever.

We would stay again

Staff was friendly and helpful room was very nice for the price. Ate at Bubba'33 which was very good. We were just passing through.
