Nice hotel close to the mall

Pros: The breakfast cafeteria is on the top floor with a good scenic view of the town.
Cons: The air conditioning system needs to be a little stronger to cool down the room.
Location: The location it near central enough to access the nearby shopping mall and other surrounding eateries.
LQ east has convenience to access the main Kellogg ave and the nearby mall. Hotel parking has ample spaces for their guests. Breakfast servings were good and the cafeteria is on the top floor and has lots of space with a good scenic view on the outside. Unlike most hotels/motels where their breakfast servings are on the ground floor. :-)

Noisy

Room was very noisy both from the street noise and people next door with tv on ALL night. Breakfast was mediocre. Would not stay there again.

Bed bug, etc.

We found an adult bed bug in our bed in the morning. (We weren't sure what it was until we googled it.) We took it to the front desk clerk in a plastic cup. She, Brianda, was very apologetic, very professional and tried to locate the manager. Later, when we checked out, she inquired if the manager ever contacted us, no. She informed us that our room had been comped. The hotel was very run down and the breakfast area ceiling had three 3x3 holes with plastic over the holes. Brianda deserves a 5, but since the manager never bothered to try to talk to us, we gave staff a 3 and we will never go back.

Location quite convenient to our needs.

Pros: People and location
Cons: room renovation
Location: many good restaurants in area outside the city.
Check in relatively easy and the personnel all tried hard to satisfy our needs. The hotel is old and could use room reconditioning.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!

They gave us the wrong room, that wasn't even ready yet. In our actual room, we had no clean towels. Housekeeping opened our door, while we were sleeping with our DO NOT DISTURB sign up. Management was not available. Breakfast was out of main hot items and the hotel didn't care at all.

Ok stay...

Loved the location of our room... However, we checked in after 4:00... Went to our room and it hadn't been cleaned yet. They were very nice about it.. I wanted the room because of the location but we had to wait 20 minutes, with a toddler, to get our room. Breakfast was great... Pool was great. Seems like an old hotel that they are in the middle of refurbishing.
