Customer Service Above and Beyond

All I can say is wow! I was stuck in a jam when I locked my keys in my car. But the front desk clerk was so helpful and cooperative in getting a locksmith, even allowing me to check in despite not having my ID or credit card. The room was beautiful and the grounds are amazing. Beautiful geese walked around everywhere especially by the lake in the back. Best stay anywhere in a long time.

Conveniently located in interesting area

Pleasant. The hotel needs to have more herbal tea selections in the lobby for the evening to promoterelaxation and rest, such as chamomile or sleepytime.

Services lacking

Pros: Quite off road location. Clean and well maintained. Very roomy.
Cons: Better internet connection, phone books in room.
Location: Location is great. Couldn't tell you about the nearby things to do.
The "off the main drag" location offers a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Comfort was not an issue. My only complaints center on three issues; 1) The wi-fi connection leaves much to be desired. Could not connect to ANYTHING. Signal was only 2 bars. 2) No telephone books in the rooms. Wanted to order a pizza for late night delivery (hotel kitchen was closed after 10:00 p.m.). Couldn't do it on-line.....(see #1) couldn't call as there was no phone book to be found. Ended up going to McDonalds across the street. Which, by the way, is quite possibly THE WORST MCDONALDS IN THE WORLD. 3) In the morning (both mornings), houskeeping is at the door by 7:30 a.m. Just a wee bit early. But, then again, I didn't have the "do not disturb" tag hanging on the door.

We do have phone books available per request. I have called our internet provider to run a test on the system to make sure there are not any problems with connections.We apologize for the inconveniences. Great hotel and friendly staff

Pros: The staff was awesome and the rooms were really nice.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It's Wichita, come on.
The only reason that I didn't give the hotel facilities a 5 (only a 4) was because they had construction on the 3rd floor. However, the staff let us know it was happening and went out of their way to make sure that it didn't affect our stay.

Visiting Family in Wichita

The room beds need to be replaced because they are far too soft. However, the hotel recently started a renovation project starting on the third floor.

They only had one room reserved when I had a confirmation email for two. The bed is old. Swayed.

Wonderful hotel in just the right neighborhood

Everything about this hotel is superb. My only complaint (and it could have been my misunderstanding) was I thought the breakfast buffet was included - then I received a bill for $10.95 each. That was disappointing. But, the food was excellent!
