It was very unprofessional and poor customer service to cancel a reservation made on Expedia due to maintenance on the day of check-in after 3pm check-in time. We were coming from out of state for a family wedding, and to call and say our room was under maintenance last minute and the hotel canceling our reservation, put us in the position of spending double on a room for 2 nights somewhere else. It was very obvious that our room was given to someone else. We were VERY disappointed.

This property is currently being renovated so there are some exceptions. However, I don’t know why people are allowed to stay here. Our hotel was completely disgusting, the bath tub was falling apart. There were tiles missing from the ceiling, the side door of the hotel was open the whole night (anyone could’ve gotten in), the carpet was nasty, some hotel rooms were completely torn up (no walls, no floors, no ceiling). I didn’t really feel safe in my own room. We could barely shower because the tub was brown and there was a huge water spot leaking through the ceiling above the tub. We didn’t know the place was being renovated until after we booked the hotel. There weren’t any staff members around at all and breakfast was not offered even though it said it was included.

Fine as a crash pad
The room was OK, the bed was clean and comfortable. Water pressure was great, so the shower was good. The renovations are in full swing, the clerk said they were closing down soon for a month or 2 to finish. It was fine for one night.

Property is being remodeled yet open for rental & still charging normal price. Was notified after renting and Expedia did not warn us. Could have stayed at nicer motel for same price. Entry has couch & coffee pot, & boxes in construction zone. Hall is wrapped in plastic shearing with Sheetrock dust on the floors and carpet missing. Parking area is filled with shipping containers for storage.

My family and I were in town for the NAIA Nationals. The rates were reasonable for a two queen bed room. As the motel is undergoing renovation, I expected a lot more noise and dust honestly, but they sectioned off parts of the motel. I could not hear the work being done. My disappointment came as there was no breakfast available although it is listed as included in the rates. We typically like to stay at motels we can grab breakfast on the way out as we are usually short of time. Communication could be better as I got no response to an email I sent asking about the possibility of an extra rollaway bed or sofa bed in case another family member was free for the visit. I called a couple days later and was able to speak with someone. They did tell me they would be closing for a couple months to complete the renovations. I would recommend that they man the front desk better as each time I came by, no one was there and had to ring for service each time.

So much construction going on there is no way this is safe for guests. Room was old and filthy with the toilet broken, there seems to be homeless people regularly patrolling the parking lot tlfor garbage. Staff was nice but this place needs to shut down.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE it was under construction and you could hear them working on everything…. My toilet was broken when I showed up from 2pm and the manager and or maintenance was “unavailable” so I had to wait until 12am for someone to “look” at it. My door also didn’t lock and they had ice buckets in the rooms but zero ice or water available throughout the whole hotel. Also this place does NOT have breakfast included even if they have it in there booking information… TERRIBLE place don’t waste your money where no one knows how to run a hotel…

Property was under complete renovation - there were no amenities available, not even a USB port in the room. Coffee pot in the room but no where to plug it in. NO plug ins in the kitchen area. Breakfast was not available on Sunday due to the renovations. Coffee was available in the lobby. There was not seating in the lobby as shown in the pictures. Paper signs hanging on walls directing to the elevator. Felt like a very basic, 1980's hotel but it was cheap to stay.

The property is under complete renovation, totally destroyed. Unsafe for occupancy. Staff was smoking pot inside the building which then permeated every open space. The new layout is horrific. The "remodeled" room seemed like it belonged in a pay by the hour establishment. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!

Good luck getting ahold of anyone by phone prior to your arrival, and once arriving don't expect to see any hotel staff around to check you in or greet you. Management seems to be nonexistent or unwilling to take accountability for lack of employee performance. Overall the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.

I did not explore this hotel very well. They are in the midst of remodeling and had only coffee for amenities. One of our rooms , the toilet wasn’t flushing so they were moved to another room. We had no remote control, I had to ask twice.

I had booked a stay for 4 nights for around the July 4th holiday because Expedia showed 4 out of 5 stars and were pet friendly. Upon arriving noticed that there were giant containers in the parking lot and only a couple cars. Upon walking in, it was noticed the hotel was under construction. There was basically nothing in the lobby. A couple of foreign guys checked me in and I had an uneasiness the whole time. When going to our room, it felt almost as if we were in a horror movie. Honestly I was glad we had our dog witr us. Rooms boarded off, no a/c, no fixtures. Just sheet rock down the hallway and some old carpet down the hallway. The room was ok looking. Beds were super hard. There was outdated carpet like wallpaper in the bathroom. My husband and I decided we were not comfortable staying there. We went down to the lobby, and told them we didn’t realize the hotel was under construction and it was unacceptable. They said no problem they’ll take care of my reservation thru Expedia. We booked other accommodations and hoped they would be good on their word. We have not been refunded anything. The hotel should not be open for business in this state. I understand needing to make upgrades but it was not mentioned anywhere that they were under renovations and if you’re going to strip and entire building at once, you should close until you can open open to acceptable standards.

Didn't Like - Air Conditioning in entire lobby was out and it was a very hot day. Room's A.C. was OK, but to and from the car was awful. Major renovation of lobby was dirty, very inhospitable. No food services were available. Customer should be told ahead of time what conditions to expect. Full price should not be charged if only partial services are available. Foreigners on desk were hard to understand, although they did their best to be polite and helpful.
